  • Once I left a comment on this clip with my former account name: Operalover12002. I appreciate high ratings for what I wrote a year ago. Despite my new account name, my love for this amazing song has been exactly the same. Doris Day is one of the goddesses of jazz.

  • nice song

  • She really puts her emotions into every song she sings. Whether it be serious, funny, romantic, whatever. I know thats what you are supposed to do, but I think she really got it more then most. Plus, her undeniable sweetness shines thru and you really can't fake that. Thats one of the reasons I think this American Treasure is loved so very much.

  • she is so beautiful and has such an amazing voice

  • This woman is so outrageously good looking..

  • now is the song in the piano lesson.wonderful music.

  • Doris eternal. Is when I fall in love with you.

  • I'm thinking I found my wedding song. <3

  • I so thank you for this video!!!. She is unique. Regards, Sergio.

  • DD's version is lovely, and the original, but I am more partial to Julie London's treatment. DD's voice is youthful, optomistic, determined; Julie's is more wistful, resigned, and you almost hear the resignation in it that the lyric more properly rendered would be "IF I fall in love..." Still, beautifully done!

  • one of the cleanest voices of all time. This Lady could sing. Very few can compare to her in me book. Big fan forever and always. She takes me away from where I am and leads me into and sweet wonderful place.

  • I'm only 17 but i think, she's amazing...

  • oh WOW - she is a classic. I just wish she would come out of retirement so EVERYONE can give their thanks to such a wonderful talent! Doubt if anyone could ever be what Doris Day was. She is a true legend.

  • Doris Day was the best singer ever. I have loved her songs for many, many years.

  • What a great actress and song,and,, just pure class,,,,just the best..RWB

  • Do you hear that? That's ALL her, no electronics mixing and or enhancing her sound like singers nowadays. The best singers know how to sound amazing without any outside help.

You go Doris, make us all feel like we're falling in love. <3

  • Magic

  • I love Doris.

  • Doris Day, one of our greatest singers of yesteryear.....Love her melodic tone of her voice.....thank you so much for all her beautiful songs.....

  • Bravo, Miss Day! Another great song superbly sung by an equally great talent..Thanks, so much for posting this.

  • she's beautiful....

  • Beautiful ,

  • @Operalover12002 ...Doris, simply the best!

  • magnifique sensibilité acc. de vrais musiciens

  • Brilliant! Love Doris Day

  • she adds life to any action she does.......

  • Lovely.TY for posting.

  • OMG!! this is wonderful...sorry she stop singing, but she knew when to stop..

  • Thank you! This song gives me such wonderful memories of my love of the past. Fantastic Doris, and such a vibrant lady.I dreamed that I could be like I thought she might be.

  • I keep looking for someone like her, the Doris Day, but after all my searching, I find I must rely on her, one and only, beautiful words in song. Not a bad altternative at all. I too love her dearly like you all.

  • All Praises to Allah ! This song is as old as me (indro Saksono/Indonesian- born in April 1952). The Poem is perfect - and so was the singer. I remember that in late 50's my parents sung this kind of songs - they learned them from cinemas and radio.

  • @Saksono100 allah wanna do is have some fun, I gotta feelin' I'm not the only one.

  • She has been my idol since I was a little girl, and I used to watch her t.v. series religeously.Plan to collect her filmography starting with Calamity Jane!

  • i love this song

  • 0.12 - 0.35 someone dislike because she is in white and black vintage

but 1.46 is in colour !. i like her charm and style.

  • As a kid,in the pit's of glasgow,it was wrong to watch this stuff but i could not help myself,I was known as a HARDMAN but,i could not help watching anything to do with Doris Day.This was my secret, this woman was an angel to me,both body and voice.I'm still known as a hardman, and still they don't know this woman is my everything.I really believe doris day is an angel. But do not say anything to anyone or i might have to visit you lol.

  • This might sound weird, but her voice to me sounds like the female version of Nat King Cole. I love this song, her voice, just everything! This is one of the sweetest love songs ever.

  • @artnfrenchy

Doris Day enunciates every word better than any other singer dead or alive! Nat King Cole

pronounces well. That may be why she sounds like the female version of him.

  • Sweet, funny and elegant. With a great, great voice. Who could ever forget Doris Day.

All those romantic comedies with Rock Hudson and all the other stars at the time.

I saw them all, and I was only 10-12 years old. Thanks for sharing.

    From Norway: Berit.

  • Man, what a wonderful era this was in music. Doris, Ella, Julie London...never hear voices like this again

  • So nicely done. Thanks

  • God bless Doris Day forever.

  • Now THAT'S class!

  • so sad not a lot of people think this way-- the whole falling in love forever... but i do and i want to fall in love forever

  • How can you not Love this sexy girl next door singing a beautiful classic song ...Great pictures as always. The Doris song I can't get out of my head right now is "Again " recorded in 1946 I believe. Thanks John :)

  • If Doris lived next door to me, believe me, I wouldn't be sitting at my computer right now. LOL! I looked at a boxed set of songs I have of Doris', I can't find "Again." Again, are you sure this is the right name? lol I'll keep looking though, maybe the year is wrong. Glad you liked this Vince! :)

  • LOL you and me both...The correct year is 1949 for Doris' recording of "Again " ...Thanks again John
