Growth of the Soil Film Festival inspired by Knut Hamsun PART 1

This project was our last project (along with research papers) where we decided to make our own video version of some of his great works. It was all done in good fun, not out of disrespect or lack of knowledge. This was made by Americans, not Norwegians. All Norwegians I know definitely know about his greatness. :)

This is not serious. This is a collaboration of group projects - most of which were satire. We studied Hamsun for an entire semester and we earned a great deal of respect for the man and his works, albeit he was a nazi supporter. We had a truly wonderful professor who, through her passion of his works, not only taught us about him and his works but about his life and his role in history.

Is this supposed to be serious? Do young Norwegians today have any idea of the greatness of Hamsun? His works make Ibsen look like a TV soap writer. So show a little respect, please!
