Just check her influences, you will find Captain Beefheart, Bob Dylan, Stones, Sonic Youth, even Laurie Anderson but Madonna was never mentioned by Polly, never ever, but i really respect you've noticed resemblances, i see a lot of diamanda galas for example, its almost plagiarism! lol whatever, Mad has a big social representativeness on dealing with sex but polly just make twisted fiction or dark humor with sex.
