from what you described on Animal Planet's Im Alive I cried when I saw it It remind's me That there are boundries with wildlife and some that can't be crossed when dealing with something more powerful and dangerous than you

Thank you for your message. Wild animals are often shown as beautiful and harmless, but they are wild and act in the way they do to survive in the world they exist. It is important to realize that we were not in a remote area, but in a place that is visited by many people all the time. Just make yourself aware of your surroundings and be safe. Elora loved the outdoors and the animals. I imagine she is surrounded by wonderful animals in Heaven and I will see her again some day.

Dear Susan - Once I read your story, an image came to my mind. The bear loosen its grip on you because Elora knew she had to save her family! Yes, Susan - Elora loves you that much... The always fiercely protective Elora fought that bear with all her might! How blessed we are that for almost seven years, one of God's angel lived among us. She is my personal hero! Elora's memory will always be in my heart. I have "adopted" her as a spiritual granddaughter through my prayers. My collection of poems is dedicated to her memory. So is my latest Bible Study. Soon after I learned of her death I wrote one of my most intense poems. In it I expressed grief over Elora, anger at the prince of death, and hope in the Second Coming of Jesus. I mailed it to you, Susan, and to your Dad. Did you receive it? I apologize if it was too intense or too personal. Forgive me.
