Hey, guys.

Just to add to your discussion on tuning/capo.

Yes, capo on 2nd fret but not over the top E string. (The fat one :-) ) And he is tuned down a half step. The un-capo'd E is tuned down to C#.

Makes all the difference if you're trying to work it out.

You can, of course, stay in standard tuning and capo the first fret but you will still need to drop the E to C#

I've seen him twice also and I think you're right. He does seem to enjoy playing his songs even though he must play them night after night. I'm going to see him again when he comes back in the area in June. I'll try to get close to get some better quality video to share.

It is 2nd fret, but he plays his guitar a half step down, so if you wanted to play this song, you would play it on the 1st fret in standard tuning

I listen to this song at the 2010 Chili Cook Off in Fort Lauderdale for the very first time in my life.. There must have been more than 6.000 people among the crowd. Regardless, it made me shiver from head to toe and, at the very last, when it says "no we don;t have a lot of money, all we need is love... free as will ever be", I literally exploted in tears. THIS IS THE BEST SONG EVER
