The great thing about the NSX is that it's EASY to drive at its upper limit. When it was introduced, all the other supercars; Lambo, Ferrari, Lotus were a pain in the ass to maintain and even to drive. This was the first car to combine luxury and super performance.

I agree with Supervillian. NSXs are underrated, they never got the love that Supras, Mustangs, Camaros, 911s and Vettes have.

NSX is always laughed at for having 270HP and doing 0-60 in 5 seconds. But the truth is don't expect anything more from a 19 year old supercar.

The only ones that can't break 4.5 are the NA1s (all), and the NA2 Targas (open top, the overpriced version : ) )

Not exactly a 270 horsepower v6 is not that hard to come by now, take for intance nissan v6 engines they are tough and powerfull!

Noticed I said the displacement as well? OBVIOUSLY there are V6 that produce that power. The Infiniti G37/Nissan 370z produce 330HP. However their displacement is a whole .7 more.

Now give you a modern 3.0L engine with 270 HP. The closest I can think of is the BMW 330i which produces ~255HP. Now also keep in mind how modern that car is compared to the NSX. Funny thing is, there are still a lot of modern cars (ex V6 Mustang) with larger displacement V6 that produce less power then that.

-Subaru has a turbo. It's not naturally aspirated unlike the NSX.

-Nissan reached 300+ HP but they needed .7L of displacement more (3.7L V6)

-BMW was the only one capable of doing it 3.2L I6 from their E46 M3 to reach 300+ horsepower. However, currently it's not in production and they don't have a naturally aspirated I6 reaching 300HP in production.

-Porsche is close but their I6 is still .4L more.
