  • FREE Super Saver Delivery of democracy directly from american manufacturers.

  • F-15 is like a 69 Corvette. B-1 is like a 70 Chevelle LS6. Not as fast or agile but DAMN is it mean!

  • Can I fly this in the Air Force with a bicuspid aortic valve?

  • Its a plane used to kill people and destroy lives...!!!

"Sexy" is a girl in a bikini and high heels sucking a lollipop..

  • I fuckin' love joe satriani (Music in the background).

  • The prettiest bomber in the world

  • b1b lancer, most fuckin awesome, sexy bitch

  • B-1A was the prototype. It was developed as a high altitude supersonic (Mach 2) bomber. This is why it was painted with the "anti-flash" white paint scheme. It was cancelled by Carter. When President Reagan resurrected the B-1 program it went to the B-1B. This time they did some changes to improve its low altitude handling. It changed into a low altitude super sonic penetration bomber. It was still fast but not the Mach 2 of the prototype.

  • all a board lmao its not a train stupid lol

  • if B1B is called the Boneb int the B1R going to be called BONER

  • @PILUPACKSXXX Man what are you *ucking?? ;) are only 2 versions of B1 bomber: B1A (old version) and B1B (current version) actually all B1 bombers are in B1B version, so here is no B1R version ;)

  • Music = Surfing with the Alien, by Joe Satriani

  • track of menstrual cycles requires a lunar calendar. Certainly, the Lebombo bone resembles sticks still used by Bushmen in Namibia. See also Ishango bone. Davy Jones's locker

  • Lebombo bone One of the oldest mathematical artifacts known, a small piece of the fibula of a baboon, found near Border Cave in the Lebombo Mountains between South Africa and Swaziland. Discovered in the 1970s during excavations of the Border Cave and dated about 35,000 B.C. the Lebombo bone is marked with 29 clearly defined notches. This suggests it may have been used as a lunar phase counter, in which case African women may have been the first mathematicians, because keeping track of menstrual .

  • What video is this from? It'd be great to own....

  • I can only hope the BONE enjoys the same kind of long life full of expansion and improvement that the BUFF has. There's always something to be said about a bomber with a high top speed and a large payload, especially one that's equally at home at high altitudes and down at the deck.

  • It can take almost double the payload of a b-52 bomber

it has almost the same range as the b-52

it can go supersonic wich the b-52 can't

it's the ultimate bomber i don't know why they still use the b-52

  • @xdavid98 the cost

  • @xdavid98

Mostly because the B-52 still has some life left in it.

This makes me wish that I was assigned to the B-1B. But they made me a crew chief on the B-2. WTF?

  • The TU-160 is so big, it makes a good target.

  • @foxsecret It is not much bigger than the B-1B ;) They are pretty the same and have the same functions. I wonder, that the Russians still produce Tu 160 bombers. Oo Suppose China etc. got some.

  • Vs S300,S400,TorM2,PancirS1=?:D

  • Song joe satriani surfing with the alien

    or joe satriani crushing day

Just putting it out thare for the curious

  • I never read of a word from our potential adversaries say one discouraging word about the B-2, B-1B, F-117,... etc

  • @1bearcatf8f I think you dont know what I mean by B-2. The Northrop B-2 is a stealth bomber, it looks like wing. In almost every aspect, it owns the B-1b...

  • @hiddepolen Uhm no duh i already knew what you ment.

  • @hiddepolen The B-2 is a piece of crap. I heard rumors from B-2 mechanics that there are several design flaws with it.

  • I think the B-2 still owns...

    Nice plane though

  • @hiddepolen Crappy russian TU-160 is a pathetic copy of the mighy lancer. But it is one of the best,The B-52 still tops it.

  • Love this airplane! Combat proven. It seems like there's always a discussion of Russian vs. American airplanes. I would say this. They're both cool to watch. They're in different classes though. Just because they look the same doesn't mean they do the same job.

  • Besides, the Tu-160 is a 20-year-late competitor to the US's XB-70 Valkyrie bomber of the 1960's. If it wasn't for missile technology, the XB-70 would've been a full-production bomber.

Honestly though, aircraft like the Tu-160 and B-1B are obsolete when you consider the cost and capability of today's cruise missiles when paired with GPS technology.

  • @ibetithasnot The Tu-160 succesfully missguided the S300 world's best Anti Air with SEAD, so the Tu-160 is not obsolete in any way basicly

  • Unlike the Tu-160 though, the B-1B simultaneously operates with air and ground forces to make an unbreakable front line advance.

Ever hear of the phrase "Brains over brawn"?

Military folk will tell you there is strength in numbers. And strength in teamwork, which is what wins battles and eventually wars. The US has been the military super-power for decades because american forces know the power of teamwork (army, air force, navy, marines, etc) and financial might through free enterprise. Go USA!

  • sorry to rain on your parade guys...but the Tu-160 beats this plane in every aspect except i think for the load it can accomodate...

  • ahhh satriani, what a god damn sexy looking plane, shame it's millitary.

you know the price of titanium dropped when the B1 went into production, because it has a big titanium beam down the middle of it for strength

  • @lexichronicle the B-1B doen not have a titanium back bone,,,,it is made out of a material called phonolic...i started woring on the first B-1s deleviered to the AF in 1984 and worked on them untill 1992...there is alot of titanium (hydraulic tubing, wing sweep pivot pins ect) on the plane though

  • This is one hell of a bird of destruction.

  • the pomer for gad

  • tempted

  • I have a massive boner

  • the b-1b is supersonic

also was saved by ronald regan

  • B-1 with 1 spelled out + B-one

  • @yournameheresch thank you, now it make sence

  • If you look at were the engines are and the shape, it almost looks like a concorde... well sorta.

  • Made in the USA

  • Thanks Rockwell,let me part of theme.Art

  • Yeah, When in conflict with another Nation don't peace talk them, just make a better bomber and bomb bully their asses off... that would make a more peaceful and safer world, as long as they don't want revenge which is not likely to happen...

  • Zombies aren't real... dead men get no revenge

  • Sometimes takes decades but enemies will return and try to kill the aggressors, violence engenders violence, your reasoning is as simple as ill-advised.

  • how does tghat fit more bombs them the b52

  • the B-1b has cylinders in it's bomb bay like a revolver.

  • pure redneck bomber.

  • ive seen two airshows with this plane in it. You obviously have not. And if you have, and you still think it sucks, id like to see you build something in your redneck garage that would beat it.........

  • dont you understand. i mean its crazy

  • TU-160 is a badass aircraft to be sure, however in terms of proven service and it's ability to fly NOE "The Bone" can't be touched by "The White Swan"

  • Tu-160 is larger and it can carry more bombs but now it's too expensive for russians.

  • Hope to serve on one of these birds someday.

  • The only planes that were dogs like that were at dyess. Partly due to older models at dyess and grewatly due to it being a training base and having crappy maintenance. Grand Forks had a much higher mission rate and so did Ellsworth

  • it looks a bit like the concord

  • I've been in the "driver's seat" of both aircraft, and the cockpit's are actually quite similar. Well concorde never had a NUC button...

  • ur awesome... where were u stationed... my uncle was a crew chief at Ellsworth.

  • The BONE was a big piece of crap in 1994-1997. broke more times that flew. had a 56% FMC rate.....Still only has a 65% FMC rate.

    Big fucing pig.

  • You're just a B-52 fanboi who's upset your ancient p.o.s. doesn't drop jaws like the B-1 does. I'll be the first to admit that the jet's mx requirements were high, but absolutely worth it. I certainly never heard of AOR commanders requesting B-52s for show-of-force sorties in theater. There is nothing in the world more impressive than a B-1 blowing through the sound barrier a few hundred feet above ground level. Just ask the cave dwellers who shat themselves everytime a B-1 flew over...

  • I love it when the cave dwellers shit themselves.

  • Yeah, and the B-2 has an even smaller mission capable percentage...we know how much THOSE break. I hope you know that those percentages aren't solely based on whether they're in full working order or not.

  • You obviously have no clue what you are talking about.

  • this plane is great for carpet bombing and is freaking fast!

  • Hey music is joe satriani in the background !!, surfin with the ailerons !!!

  • Does the airforce still use the b-1 I havn't seen them in a while.

  • Yes, we still use them. I was just at Dyess AFB, which is one of our two Lancer bases. I got to fly one in a flight simulator, sit in the copilot's seat in the last one ever manufactured, and stand near the runway while two took off on a training run. They're still out running sorties and bein' awesome!

  • Awesome plane but I still think that the B-2b is better but that is my personal opinion.

  • the roles of the two are completely different, so it's comparing apples and oranges. Having seen both up close and personal, the b1 looks way more badass.

  • Sorry I guess your right.

  • I'm not shooting you down there, no need to apologize ;D

  • @ourmanthejoker I completely agree. The B-2 is amazing for what it can do, but the B-1B is a much more masculine aircraft.

  • a rocketing aircraft -- like it -- would like to fly it ...

  • im glad somebody likes it...because i hate it...if you worked on it you would hate it to...lol. dont get me wrong it does its job but its a bitch to work on.

  • What aren't shit to work on!!! Never found one yet thats good, well maybe the 737-3-4-5...except engine changes, brake unit change. mach trim actuator, stab trim actuator.................

  • I read that a crew chief in the USAF said every bone had some kind of mechanical problem.

  • i worked on the lancer for 4 yrs and yes everyone has a problem but flyable of some sort. i think i saw maybe once where one took off with no write ups. awesome plane though

  • you dummy.. you must be lazy . i worked on it for line maintenance for 4 yrs and now im a commercial mech. and every plane sucks in its own way. but nothing is as rewarding as listening, feeling, and watching the b-1 take off

  • Hell yeah, I'm weapons on this beast up north.

  • sweet plane. Structure mech. in early 90's @ GFAFB.

  • Amazing. First flew in 1974, this is 1960's tech. What could they have now?

  • no more money...

  • YES YES BABYYYY,I LOVE IT :)

  • Way back in the day, for many years, I use to like the f-16. I attended a McChord air show, they had a b-1b demo, and all it had to do was take off and I was a completely changed man... I still like the f-16 though.

  • the b-1a was canceled by jimmy carter the b-1b was reissued by ronald reagan....the b-1b has twice the payload of the b-52....and its being redesigned by boeing under the title B-1R look up the picture on google, its goign to be a weopons truck for the f-22, not to mention its current bomber ability

  • yeah i saw that on TV, and it also has the same engines as the F22 giving way way way better range and speed

  • @doner2424 the B-52 has a 70,000bls to 80,000bls payload, the B-1 has 75,00bls, but to achieve the range close to a BUFF 8,000 to 11,000 miles they usually use a forward weapons bay fuel tank which cuts their weapons loads. I work to BONE for Four years, my aircraft was 4050, it was on the fround more than it flew, it IFEd alot, and it RED BALLed ever time it flew. Now I have friends still with them, and they have gotten better, but the Buff in my mind is still better.

  • B-1B what mach 1.2 top speed the B-1A 2.2mach why were happy with a slower airceaft it costs less to bild [a lot less titanium in the airfraim]congres would not accept the over runs to bild the B-1A and the B-1B is still one of the best aircrat in the world

  • it doesnt have the biggest payload the b-54 does

  • i assume you are talking about the b-52 because the b-54 was canceled in 1949. sorry you are wrong, the b-1 carries more than double the ordnance than what the b-52 can carry if you fully load the external hard points: 134,000 lbs for the b-1 vs. 60,000 lbs for the b-52

  • I read that the external pylons are prohibited due to the START I treaty.

  • What the hell is a B-54?

  • crazy train at the end? YEAHHH!!!

  • verry nice video sweet aircraft .. you should now that the B1B top speed of 1.25 mach is nice but its half of what a F111 2.5mach and F111 in service with RAAF can do 2.8-3 mach and supercruse [mach without afterburners on] .. dont get me wrong i love the B1B but for speed your not going to beat an F111 IT OVER TWICE AS FAST ..

  • yeah but the b1b is a bomber and in real life its huge! of course its not going to be as fast as a f111

  • fighter, f22, enough said.

  • Actually, a B-1B can out run a fighter in the long if it has a large enough lead. All fighter, except the F-22, can only stay in afterburn for a few seconds before they burn up all their fuel. A B-1B can stay in afterburn for over an hour.

B-1A's were alot faster, but with the upgraded avionics, logistic systems, it didn't need the extra speed. Also, with Terrain Following RADAR, tow decoys, flares, chaff, electronic counter-measures, etc, it would be very difficult to shoot this bird down.

  • Actually Supergeek, if you do some research you'll find that the F-22 carries some classified technology that gives the plane a non exportable status. No other country can buy or fly it.

  • @Blarg247 HEY I THOUGHT THAT JAPAN AND THE UK. HAD THE OPTION TO BUY BEING ALLIES. BUT THEY COULD NOT AFORED IT.

  • Yeah! Ready the bombers! Iran is go'n down!

  • That doesn't make it better. The Russians have always struggled to make GOOD bombers.

  • @CyberThom The Tu-160 beats this thing by a million times to tell you the truth :D

  • @TonyFirelli Its just a fuckin plane man get over yourself. All it is,is a rip off from the B-1

  • @1bearcatf8f Haha their not even similar their both totally different aircraft for different purposes! but yeah I know there are too many dumbnuts here to to argue with so I try not to bother...

  • @TonyFirelli The B-1 was designed in the 60s it wasnt made until the 80s the TU-160 was made because the russians stole the design to make there TU-160.Sore loser bahahahahaha your the one with the additude kid.

  • @1bearcatf8f Sure maybe true but the person with the better "copy" is the winner same in war it doesnt matter if you copy aslong as you win and the Tu-160 is comparable to the XB-70 Valkyrie not this thing. The Tu-160 survived the S-300 AA :) So it has very good SEAD And the B1B has 1 flare

  • @TonyFirelli

have you personally flown either aircraft?

  • @CyberThom Well the russians have always copied are bombers and have been a day late and a dollar short with them.

  • @CyberThom The biggest problem the russians had was engines, for some reason it took them a long time to get an engine that was both powerful and fuel efficient. A perfect example of this is one of my favorite bombers, the Tu-95 is turboprop powered. It wasnt until the Tu-160 they actually had something to be feared, just my opinion though.

  • While a true statement. Which one is still in service?

  • The Tu-160 Blackjack is indeed bigger and faster, but does NOT carry more payload, it carries LESS.

The B-1B can actually carry upto 135,000 lbs (internal + external payload) despite being smaller than the Tu-160. That's more than 3 times the max payload of the B-2 Spirit (40,000 lbs).

The Tu-160 can carry 88,185 lbs (internal + external) so that's more than twice the B-2, and slightly more than the B-52, but not as much as the B-1B.

  • True,

I think I mixed up lb and kg or made an error switching between sites.

    Anyhow, I was wrong.

    Thnx for correction.

  • those things are HUGE!!! I'm building the 1/48 scale model of it and I can't find a place to put it!

  • Try a 1/72nd of a BUFF! Took me 2 years and I had to put it out in the garage, lol.

  • As a concerned Australian, watching my government stuff-up with the f-35's instead of getting f22's, especially now that they are decommissioning f-111's - im actually going to see my state pollie as a concerned citizen tht australian needs to acquire B-1B Lancer's to replace the f-111's as they are intended to & stop Beating round the Bush...

  • Well the USAF replaced the F-111 with the F-15E, can't Autralia do the same?

  • I love the fact that "Surfing with the Alien" is the background music! Joe Satriani for the win!

  • Yea, hes the guy who did the Top Gun "theme" song! That dude can grab the moment when it comes to air power

  • Na, that was Steve Stevens. For some reason, a lot of places miscredit the song to Satriani (and others). I'm actually learning it right now.

  • Satch did a version of it on one of his albums that got alot more play time...either way, both did an awesome job of it.

  • No, Satriani never recorded anything to do with Top Gun (although it's a common misbelief that he did). It says so on his Official Fan Club Membership FAQ:

"Joe also didn't play the Top Gun theme or Over The Rainbow that commonly get shared with his name on them"

type in "satriani top gun membership" on google and click the first result

  • I know that Stevens recorded the instrumental with Harold Faltermyer, I can even recall the dang video...I also know that Satriani and Van Halen have also been said to have been the creators of that instrumental. But I also know that Satriani has played that anthem...I may be wrong about him putting it on an album, but I know he has played it. There's a big difference between Joe's bald head and Stevens' "mop."

  • A super sonic swig wing heavy bomber, that hard to beat!

  • Comment removed

  • I like this bomber because it can even break the sound barrier! at altitude of course lol

  • Negative

Low altitude sonic passes have been made.

It can have the same effect as a small bomb with the sonic boom it creates.

Just this has it's own tactical advantages.

For some reason now I just can't wipe this smile off my face.

  • I want one! where do i pay the deposit?

  • My Uncle Sam has some paperwork for you to look over first...

  • LOL, now thats funny right there!

  • Bomb porn! America! FUCK YEAH!!!!

  • I watched as one of these came onto the runway. It had a totally different eerie evil pitch and tone to the engines. As it took off everyone stopped and watched. Even on the streets people stopped there cars and got out to watch. It was an insanely loud crackling. Louder than any B1B on the base It made one circle and landed. I have never heard any other plane like that one. Gaging by the other people in the middle of the street neither had anyone else on the base.

  • last year we had one come in from ellsworth for our wing change of command. A couple hours later they flew back and that thing was ridiculously loud when it took off. It's kinda funny....it was off the runway and in the air long before one of our B52'S would have been

  • surfing with the alein great song

  • The USAF is adding targeting pods to the B1 also. Add the existing huge load of smart bombs and you've got a plane that can hang around for hours and hours ready to drop explosives within a few meters after a radio call.

  • Oh I forgot to mention that the B1B might just be relegated to a purely tactical role in the future when it is replaced by the supersonic FB22 or 23 or even its own upgraded version in the future.

  • And just think that jackass Jimmy Carter cancelled the B-1 program!Thank god for Ronald Reagan!!!!!

  • Awesome plane, one of my favourites. Such a shame these things have to be killing machines too.

  • Agreed, this is a great clip. Very informative, and those are some impressive stats on missions flown/ordnance dropped.

  • What the video didn't state was with the new small diameter bomb (250 lbs) each bomb can be individually targeted. That means one B-1 can target several hundred different targets at one time.

  • these things are huge

  • the commentor makes me feel sick.

I wish that "the mighty bomber" dropped one of thos spectacular bombs in his backyard.

  • WOW! Thanks for this video, very good compilation with much much never before seen footage. There really isn't much footage of the Bone on the net, nonetheless to this quality. Where did you get this, and where can I get it for DL?

  • so is this better then the stealth?

  • It's a different type of bomber altogether. The B-1 is faster and carries more payload but is not as advanced as the B-2. The B-2 handles the very important, high threat targets.

  • B2 is more of a strategic bomber, but you wouldn't want to risk a slow moving jug like that in a airspace that is buzzing with patrols, unless God grants you the blackest of nights. B1 is a more capable tactical bomber, all weather, anytime, anywhere, fast.

  • If you are talking about the F117 stealth, it was more of a tactical bomber. Somewhat of a different catagory. Smaller but deadly. The F117 is being phased out as the F-22 is taking over in that role and is even more stealthy (3rd generation stealth) and has many additional advantages.

  • No I'm not talking about the F117. I'm just stating that the B1B is far more versatile than the B2. The B1B is a strategic bomber to be sure, but it is also a very capable all-weather, daylight tactical heavy(emphasis on HEAVY) Bomber.

  • My response was meant for beetlejuice. I wasn't sure which "stealth" aircraft he was talking about. And I do agree with you that overall the Bone is a more versitile HEAVY bomber.

  • In particlair I like its ability to drops hundreds of SDBs at one time, all individually targeted from miles away from its objective. Oops there goes another airbase.

  • hundreds huh? it can carry a max of 96 SDBs, thats without the internal fuel tank loaded. And if you try the put them on the wing tip crap, you cant, it goes against the START treaty.

  • 96 to 144 depending on a four or six pack dispenser. Imagine the air defence radar at an Iranian base suddenly lighting up with 144 incoming bombs. Perhaps 288 if two bombers were used. And you're sitting at the controls of the latest Russian pantsyr anti aircraft system and have eight/twelve missles to defend yourself with.
