Truth be told, the n97 has far more apps than any of you knows, you just have to look in the right plac,e not everything is stored in ovi store, and i dont even use it, i download every app on the net. But soon a new ovi suite will come, and it will probably rock the world :D

whats funny is people who I know that own the nokia have a go on my iphone for 1/2 an hour or so then sit there wondering why they bothered with the n97.

Its about the whole feel and ease of the iphone, stop worring about the stats! and as someone else said try using it for more than 5 minutes and just dismissing something because you want to hate rather than having an open mind!

But after actually having a go on both the n97 mini and already owning the iphone, the difference is obvious, nothing feels fluid on the n97 and why do i need a keyboard? (which just makes it fatter in your pocket!) and what is better about it past the camera? nothing i cant see the iphone doing better, the PR line of "theres an App for that" is amazingly true, there really is just about anything you can do with it.

Specs on n97 are no doubt better, however most people like a phone they can operate smoothly, nokia never ever deliver on that front with a symbian os. If nokia made a phone and asked apple to give them an os for it it would be best phone ever. Also non multi touch screens are woeful, the iphone works so well because it is multi touch. Nokia need to eat humble pie and buy screens off apple. Then and only then i will ever get another nokia.

they have Nokia N-Gage called Online gaming... most of Nseries games are 3D games.. with shaders... the best is that there are RPG online games... you can find lots of games in hongkong and Japan that is made up of online games for N97...

N97 dont supports shaders. Only OpenGL ES 2.0 can support it. And it even hasn't GPU processor that is neccessary for GOOD 3D graphycs.
