New BMW 5-series F10 generation: Parking Assistant and Surround View

I really don't understand the point of buying a 7 series if you're going to get ear raped by the noise of the diesel engine the whole trip the idea is to get a 'comfortable' luxury car, if you have enough money to spend on a 7 series in the 1st place then surely you can afford the fuel for it.

you are totally underestimating the capabilities of the diesel powered 7-series...

i recently rented a 730d in germany and had the opportunity to compare it with the 740i...

both felt pretty much the same although the petrol powered felt faster. But the diesel one had much more torque feeling and believe me, the sound was barely hearable from the inside... even at 160 mph in the autobahn...

Btw if you can't park your BMW in such a big spot without this, than maybe you shouldn't buy a BMW...
