you can make it record highest quality you just put the tv as the middle man and not the capture card

i managed to grab a dazzle platinum from some local pawn shop for like £20. also to the pal 60 i had alot of problems with this you can work around this by using amcap, i used a tutorial that was uploaded by some youtuber called POWellz2008.

I use the same settings but do it custom and use the resolution size below 720x480 cuz for some reason it drops SO many frames, but I render it out back to 720x480. I don't see any difference in the quality, you can see it on the videos on my page.

Try AVI DV capture setting. I do that but make the file as MPEG-4 so my videos load. I will try to help out as best as I can. You need 4 GB of ram I believe to run this good and a kick ass computer. I dunno.

try unplugging extra things that are powered by usb example if u have an ipod plugged in while recoridng unplug it. then close any other program besides the capture
