This movie is horrible... even some dragonball movies have more quality. Dont get me wrong i love FFVII and i think that it is the best FF game but... yeah. Movie saved only by its visuals and the fact taht it has cloud on it.

lol... There was none. Advent Children is based on the awesome PS1 game Final Fantasy: VII (7). Check your local game rental place to check it out, or even buy it (you can also search YouTube for clicks like the AWESOME Aeris clip that brough thousands to tears!). The game is long and has 3 discs. If you like it I also recommend Legend of Dragoon (4 discs of solid story...)

I got the movie and I think it's good...awesome but some parts really needed more help with the effects/graphics.I though it was great but if you haven't never hear,never know or play a FFVll game then you'll not understand a thing of what happened.And yes,on japanese its more better because it the original and it sound more real[the voices].

well the characters are japanese but if they spoke english with american/english accent very well it would not be natural and it would be wierd and english with japanese accent would be strange

Personally for me, i find it easier to understand/appreciate the movie if it's dubbed (but subtley) in my language, because for me, i find expression of certain words key to understanding emotion the characters are expressing easier, just something i tend to lose reading text. Not always the case though. Brilliant film in Japanese & English.

You must be kidding, when a film is dubbed in other language it looses a lot of parts like expression or emotion of the characters.

Watching at the original language is a million times better than a dubbed one. Why do you think that anime fans (to mention an example) only watch anime with subtitles and never in other language.

You just need to lean to read quickly :P so you can have more time to appreciate the film.

I agree, sometimes with the dubbed versions it looks like they said something just to say it, no expression, no emphasis.- I also hear which ever one you listen too first is the one you'll stick with.

I think you are right, english dubbing sometimes is without any emotions. I wish I could see FFVII in Japanese version with english subtitles, i think it would be much better! :)
