i was born, raised & lived the majority of my life in massachusetts with a few years in california.
i can say without doubt i'm proud of this state, bar none.
it leads the nation in so many cultural, scientific, educational, technological, political & personal freedoms & rights most states haven't even on their radar yet.
let's hope one day tennessee will, have that same wisdom, caring, concern & understanding that truly makes a people & state a place where everyone can live in love & harmony
@JohnRhysMusician and then the state legislature & people could have engaged in a petition to change our state constitution writing discrimination into it. while some on the right, including now U.S. senator scott brown were in favor of it, the majority was not so it did not take place.
and i remind you most of the progress in this country comes from "court imposed" ground breaking decisions that further personal freedoms based on the constitution. thank god for "activist judges"!
@JohnRhysMusician Just like the Supreme Court struck down the ban on interracial marriage, desegrated schools etc. I suppose you didn't likkke that either.
these bills will make me NEVER want to go to TN,...ever! They hate me- I hate them - they dont need my tourism money

@wntoply6 I would remind you that Massachusetts has court imposed same-sex marriage. It was not democratically passed.
