  • the worst port of Doom ever! ....wait a minute... sega saturn has the worst port!

  • @Darkersamuca Depends, Japanese saturns had a straight port of ps1 doom that worked well.

  • MY FUCKIN EARS!

  • Music is crap

  • Playing on HMP?

    Shameful.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what This was also four years ago... don't check the upload date?

    Shameful.

  • @Domination4eva So somehow four years ago it was somehow not-shameful to completely suck ass at Doom?

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what Well what four years ago means is that I was considerably younger back then, and I'm pretty damn sure you weren't that great at Doom when you were 12-13.

Let's see you do better, genius.

    Ignorance and stupidity?

    Shameful.

  • @Domination4eva Ahahaha no kidding dude, my little brother was playing on Ultra Violence when he was 9 and could routinely make it through the first three levels before getting bored and turning on cheats.

So good job on being out-played by a hyperactive 9 year old.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what Cool Story, Bro. You should tell that shit around a camp fire!

Inability to troll and unmatched retardation?

    Shameful.

  • I don't understand why other ridicule others for playing on certain difficulties, its really none of their business, and if they don't like it, then they should not watch the video. I heard enough about people getting ridiculed for playing games on easy, but why on earth was this lolKbgTgm6621what person ridiculing you for playing on normal? That is just extreme. Not everyone is some hardcore gamer that can walk through games on the highest difficulty. Childish antics from him.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what

Hyperactive retard that thinks he's elite. Good job.

  • @psychogod He doesn't think he's elite, he just doesn't play on Retard Difficulty like this twit.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what: Well then, that makes sense. He doesn't think he's elite, but you are making him out to be elite while anyone who plays otherwise are complete retards. Hmmm, guess what? You're the retard for thinking that anyone lesser than you are complete shit. This is the fucking 32X not the PC Version. I've never enjoyed playing Doom on the console for the very fact you can't use a mouse and keyboard (alas strafing and mouselook. Not to mention the PC version never lags.

  • @psychogod I'm not making him out to be elite. He was a hyperactive nine year old with average skill in games, and he managed to play DOOM on the real difficulty level. Unlike Domination4eva, who doesn't exactly dominate by picking the weenie difficulty.

You must have serious trouble in English class with your analytical reading skills / lack thereof.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what Considering the limitations of the 32X controls, it would be logical to pick a lower difficulty because the controls are quite restricting. I must also add yet again that this was five years ago.

Your inability to troll still remains.

    Shameful.

  • @Domination4eva the controls a bloo a bloo a bloo

Trolling implies that I'm doing it just to provoke a response, and you're flattering yourself if you actually think I enjoy reading your blubbering bullshit, princess.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what If you don't enjoy it, why are you still here?

    Dumbass -_-

  • @Domination4eva I don't have to enjoy every single minute of my waking life, because I'm not shallow.

As far as who the dumbass is - at least I'm not the one using anime smilies.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what You would think that's an anime smiley, wouldn't you? I'll guess that's a pastime of yours. Au contraire, it symbolizes how hard I facepalm with your stupidity.

If you're going to try and exhibit any form of intellect or superiority over me, you've got to do better than that.

  • @Domination4eva I don't even have to try, I just have to sit back and let you use chantard words like "facepalm" as you struggle to sound smart but end up only sounding pompous.

  • @lolKbgTgm6621what Such a small example for what little argument you present.

    You're making my IQ drop.

  • When I played this I mute the TV and put on slayer

  • Lol better fram erate than the sega Saturn

  • Comment removed

  • doom is better on snes,ps1,and jaguar

    than sega 32x

  • @cameron20101000 32x is better than the SNES port at least...

  • @PIKACHU49386 why?

sega 32x theme is just asshole!

i like doom on snes,ps1,3do,pc,and gba versions

  • @cameron20101000 To me it was best on PC.

  • @stlouisrocker100 true.

archviles can be spawned only on GBA, PC, and X360 versions of Doom 2

  • i wll dis tis game

  • Okay, true, it has music made up of contepation sounds, but still, it runs smooth. Thats the most important thing.

  • i had this game for windows 98 haha..."heeeeyyyyyyyy!!!!!"

  • "music" huh i don't know :)

  • they had shit in their brain when they did the music.

  • ear rape

  • The music is awful lol.

  • i se you like to listen to the fatman farting orcestra!

  • I wonder why the music sucks so much, couldn't they just remake the Adlib patches from the PC version properly on the [far superior] FM chip in the Genesis rather than making these butty sounding ones?

  • ill call this one farts of doom

even though the frame rate is good and graphics better than snes but lack of levels and terrible music

id rather go with the snes port

    better music-more levels-still playable

  • ear rape

  • I tried playing it with the 3 button controller once (several buttons wont respond on my six button). i said "fuck this" and went out to get another controller from kmart. you need to be able to strafe in the later levels.

I don't know why they decided to use the on board genesis sound chip instead of the better one the 32x has.

  • I kinda like the 32x version. May not sound good, but the gameplay is less choppy then the other ports.

  • My gosh the SNES version is better than this (Except SNES version didn't have the original poison animation :< )

  • FUCK THIS MUSIC! IT SOUNDS LIEK SHIT! I'D RATHER EAT DIARREAH VOMIT WITH DOG SHIT! The graphics were ok, but THAY KUT HALF DE LEVELS! PLAY SNES DOOM! THAT SOUNDTRACK KICKS YOUR ASS TILL DIARAREAH COMES OUT YOUR DICK AND BRINGS YOU A LEPRECAUN THAT BRINGS BEEER OR WHATEVER YOU DRINK WHILST YOUR GAMING! AND THAT HAS ALL THE LEVELS JUST SHITTIER GRAPHICS!(Non insult to you, to the game)

  • 32x had a quite good computational power.....but the chip audio is pure shit

  • Music sounds awful.

  • I wanted this version of DooM to be good, but they cut the game in half and only had 15 levels. And it sounded like crap (always wondered why Sega didn't improve the sound capabilities with the 32X). Oh well :/.

  • @KIFulgore

    16 actually

if u dont use cheats or anything then level 16 starts

still crappy though level 16 is E2M9

  • aaaaahhhhh good time's going to my dad's house on the weekends and getting upon saturday morning eating frosted cherio's and playing doom on the sega :) oh road rash and that knuckles game :) gooooooooood time's

  • good game, but the music of this version, is a piece of shit

  • Doom music like fart.

  • The Music sucks on this one but It still looks good overall.

  • Doom 32x was fine [although, they should have left in the ability to choose screen size, the forced lower screen size was a bit annoying], but whoever wrote the music driver and made those terrible FM patches should be stabbed in the face. There's no reason the music should have been that bad. Hell, doing a straight port of the Adlib soundtrack should have been possible.

  • doom 32x and snes

the only improvement from 32x is just the graphics

the only improvement from snes is the levels and music

like doom on 32x has like 15lvls and snes has 22lvls so if u want more levels and better music and dont care about the graphics then snes version is best but if u just want graphics thats it then 32x is fine to u

  • I think the music is bad but I don't think I would care as long as the game play is ok.

  • @jjsheely thanks at least u understand

  • thanks jjsheely

  • i dont care if it was doom the 32x had no excuse for this. 15 lvls and a horrible ending with stupid sound and horrible music. even the gba did better than this! doom for the 32x sucked and i threw it away after i finished playing it this port just pissed me off!!!!!!! >:[ if u ever find the gba version or this version get the gba one!!!!!!1

  • @idfan3143 fuck the ports. Get the PC version

  • @thatguyontheright1 idfan3143 has a point though. Aside from censorship of blood and satanic themes, the GBA port is pretty good. (That is, if you don't also have a problem with lower-res graphics.)

  • i actually thought this was better than the later sega saturn port

which was sluggish and suffered from terrible slow down

this isnt much better. but very few machines managed a good port of this even the 3do's is rubbish, the best is the atari jaguar and the playstation versions, then the snes version which is astounding for a 16 bit consule, but would never call it a good port, a slight lag in controls, and the characters can blend in to their surroundings cause of the low resolution

  • I think the only bad thing about this version is the creepy sound from the music. I wonder why it sounds like this?

  • Actually, I don't have that many problems with the music, it's nearly the same as with AdLib/SoundBlaster. And really, even if levels are missing and such, the playability is still many times better than on the SNES version.

  • wtf the pillar gone at the superarmor room

  • 32X Version was better than SNES Version

    Sega is better than Nintendo

  • @gamezillarsucks

get your history together. the SNES had WAY better music AND it had more levels. Also, where's Sega's mascot Sonic now? Another mascot for Nitendo.

  • @gamezillarsucks if you think the 32x doom is better than SNES doom, you've got problems. The 32x port only had 17 levels... SNES has 22. 32x lacked spectre, cyberdemon and the spider mastermind. The 32x was extremely limited, hence why you NEVER see the side or back side of an enemy, even when they walk/run.

  • @kemorc I'm pretty sure that you couldn't see the back or side of the enemys in the snes version either. All the console ports for this games sucked. I actually liked the 32X version better just because the controls weren't as sluggish, and it looked better and played better, but it pissed me off that they left out some levels/bosses. If you wanna play doom just play the PC version, it's 100X better than both the 32X and Snes' pathetic excuse for a port.

  • @moreoreos123 i prefer the ps1 version over the pc to be awnest.

  • @kemorc your are a dumb fuck snes cant even handle the game, its 1 frame a second, go shave your asshole fag.

  • @TheDukeljk Um... that would be "you're a dumb fuck", not "your". Oh, and by the way, it is "it's", not "its". It would appear I'm not the dumb fuck after all.

  • @TheDukeljk

Oh really? Watch this then STFU. watch?v=j6-beSWGoMY <---homebrew DOOM for SNES.

  • @gamewizard Actually that was not homebrew, it was developed and published by Williams.

  • @gamewizard DOOM for NES is homebrew, and the project was cancelled.

DOOM has been ported to almost EVERY system created, and sold at stores that sold games for the system in question.

  • @MrGerolf actually doom on NES was fake that might of explain it was cancelled cuz everyone figured it all out -_-

  • @killkenny5000 I was telling him that the SNES version was not homebrew

  • @MrGerolf u said NES

but do know the snes port of doom is real i even got it on my snes and its much better than 32x-saturn-3DO

hell i kinda like it better than the jaguar port

  • best port its fast responsive and better levels

  • the bass kick in the music sounds aqward n this game slows down a bit. but at least it has music like some other ports.

  • 3 words FART FART FART

  • I had to lower the volume of the video to watch it without having my head to explode.

NOTE: My computer speakers are just in 42% and they're not even loud

  • whoever was in charge of the music deserves to be castrated.

  • i'm in level 13 now... hmm i can't wait for the after 15 levels ^_^ though i'm on easiest :D

  • AAaaAaaAaaH STOP THIS MUSIC! MY EARS A PUKING!

  • The "finished level" theme sounds as someone blowing inside a microphone.

  • Damn the song sucks, the one for SNES was better

  • @itubeman678 It's the same song, it just sounds shitty on this version lol.

  • Worse, this was the only port that I played :(

  • God, this music is just a bunch of farts

  • @DirkMcgee LOL

  • this is really cool I've never had the pleasure of playing the 32-bit but it looks great the graphics are so far ahead of their time and you play really good awesome video :D

  • maybe they dumbed down the music so it would stay in rythem, like wolfenstein... or they rushed the game and used a sucky graphics card.

  • the music is like someone farting

  • This "game" is SHAME for 32x!

Even Duke Nukem 3D on Mega Drive is better than this shit!

  • Holy shit, this version DID suck.

  • The music sounds like someone farting pFfffFFFTTT

  • Interesting, one of the ports with the best graphics but worst music.

  • OH GOD! MY EARS!

    that "music" is simply horrible.

  • LOL that music is the games lack of using the sound chip propbley ugh

  • *hears the music*

    .....

    *HEAD EXPLODES*

  • Sounds like farts

  • The 1st gen Megadrive/Genesis had better sound than the future releases, I'm not sure if it will sound any different when using 32X. Sega's systems weren't known for sound when compared with Nintendo or computer, but sound was the least of this game's problems. The CD system had "hi def" sound as they called, it was better at least better than these butchered midi's.. but just like Doom 32x, the resolution was too small in the games. Who likes half-screen video?? (FMV crap).only play Doom in dos

  • @PlayF00tball

No DoS version is lame... Play it on Zdoom or GZDoom Engine ports... Graphics, music, options all improved. Plus you got mods. :D

  • I'll check that out. The real problem with the 32x version's "music" is that it starts BEFORE the level begins. Half the brilliance of Doom was starting the level and hearing the "boom. tereh tereh tereh..." But this piece of shit version starts the music in the menu, wtf? Lazy port

  • @PlayF00tball "boom, tereh tereh" lol epic.

I prefer this part: Terehterehterehterehtereh nara nara nananananara nana nana naranananana terehtereh nana nara narara

Or the na naranananananananana naranana na narara nanananana naranana na narana narana dooo doo dooo doo do do do do do do do do do doh doh doh doh doooooooo dorodododroror dorodorodo nananan naranana naranana..

    -_-

  • I personally think that the SNES version is better than the 32x version but I admit that this version is very good also. The best would be a mix of SNES Graphic Engine, Music and sound with the smooth gameplay of the 32x.

  • "UH it's sounds like diarrhea spewing from a buffalo's dick!" AVGN No it was a bad game HORRIBLE but I like that you posted it as a reminder why and how the GENESIS died R.I.P.

  • O.k this port of the game isn't perfect. A few things are missing and the music isn't great.

The game runs at a good clip though and it's essentially Doom. One thing I noticed is that after playing for about 20 minutes my eyes started to ache like hell, not sure why.

  • 32x .. omg this bass drives me crazy!! bumm bumm bumm bumm bumm aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

  • @gomarcphil Let's see you do better.

  • @Domination4eva idk why do some ppl think the music scary

its like they dont know between the difference with farts/turds and scary

  • @gomarcphil

yeah i bet u do crap on this version cuz the controller sucks more than snes controller so if u have the 6 button controller than its easier to play (barely)

  • @killkenny5000

don't make excuses for this bum. That Doom 32x was kicking his ass.

  • @gomarcphil

do you even have a 32x with doom -_-

doom 32x and doom jaguar controllers are worst than the GBA version cuz they dont have any shoulder buttons

so pretty much your not going to be any better than this -_-

  • whats up with the music? it sounds horrible on this console! But good graphics

  • AVGN was right, the music does sound like shit!

  • damn

  • Err, correction, you playing on your 32X EMULATOR

  • @opedroefeio Awh, you got me. =(

Haha yeah, I would've done this on my actual 32X with the actual game, but neither were cooperating at the time, so... =/

  • @Domination4eva yeah, the thing never works correctly lol

  • @Domination4eva thats not a bad thing it doesent matter lal

  • @Domination4eva i can understand playing doom 32x if it's the only version you have, but if your emulating it why don't you just play the pc version?

  • @borrowedtoe This was the first Doom I ever played when I was a youngin', back in the 90's and junk. I guess I wanted to showcase how different it is compared to the PC version as well as other counterparts people have played/seen.

  • @Domination4eva Yeah, that makes sense all that nostalgia bad audio and all it's glory :)

  • @opedroefeio

So that's why the sound is so bad it's an Emulator

  • @CornishCreamtea07 no, the sound is better(believe it or not) in the emulator

  • F*** MY EARS. Why would they release it like this? WTF

  • the reason the music sounds like that is because they dumbed down the synths to keep the music in rythem.....or they rushed it, and they suck.

  • fart fart fart fart fart fart

  • @thejobloshow Indeed, it is a fart orchestra.

  • my god the music sucks. But the graphics are slightly better

  • fart music?

  • I can't believe I bought a 32x...and weirdly enough enjoyed it. Found Doom scary.

  • 4:20 the fart assault begins..

  • KICK ASS!

  • Don't you just love the music with the serenity of telephone music while you're on hold, and the sound of jamming a cat face first into a donkey's ass..

  • If anyone wishes that doom was remade for nintendo wii, there is a group on facebook, please join and spread the word.

  • 32X FTL!

  • wow the 32x sound sucks lol.. it sounds like the music is farting out its soundtrack lol

  • This is really the first doom game I played. My dad had it for his Mac but I never played it I was addicted to Marathon at the time. Roadrash and Doom were my favorite games on the sega.

  • it's not that bad, turn the music off and play E1M1 from classic doom 3 ;)

  • watch?v=RRQaB6JjRPE

Very interesting remake of the E1M1 song for the 32X.

Another interesting thing about this port:

    doomworld(dot)com/vb/doom-general/49230-doom-32x-wad-converter/

  • jesus, the snes music was way better than this!

  • The music sounds like a Wet Fart.

  • 2:23 O_O

  • Comment removed

  • If only the sound quality was up to par with the graphics.

  • Actually one of the bests ports of Doom, sadly the 32X´s soundchip was a bitch to program for...

  • I didn't have a pc back in the day, all I had was the 32X. Doom was one of the first games I bought for it and I fell in love with it instantly.

  • Same here, and because I didn't know any better, I didn't think the music was that bad. In fact, I thought it was unique.

  • @tightlypackedcoil Hahaha, Yeah pretty unique alright :p

  • poopy port of doom

  • The first time I ever played doom was on the 32x..so I always loved it..and the music too.

  • worst music EVER

  • @KartKing4ever That's not worst. Listen to Sonic Spinball's options menu music.

  • Super nintendo = SUPER NICE

  • What are you talking about, the snes version had very pixalated graphics, ran quite slower, and some sound effect problems.

  • @davesanti

    Graphics maybe

    Slower no

    Sound effect propblems?

look at this version look on how small the screen is and how horribal the music is .

  • this version is just fantastic it,s simmilar to the gba port.

it has good graphics ,control, cool sound effects and enough enjoyeble levels,

the only downside is the farting musicm adventure 3 inferno has been completely removed, and the master mind and the end boss is missing,

  • lo unico bueno son las graficas.

    lo peor la musica l0l

  • Of all the versions I've played, SNES had the best music and map.

Even the versions with CD audio usually had bad versions of the music.

The sound on the 32X version is so bad, I can't stand it.

  • Besides the horrid music, the 32X version was missing almost half the levels and you could only get the BFG by using a cheat code. Probably the worst home version ever made.

  • An expensive extension to get slower resolution than Super Nintendo ... nice :)

  • Everyone complains about the music, but the sound effects, graphics, and most everything else is spot on.

  • That music gives me nightmares. At least I can use it for Halloween.

  • Sonic spinball settings menu music.

  • am pretty impressed by the 32x graphics here but the sound is lame! I had the PSX and Jag version. PSX was great and Jag was descent and if you compare it with other Jag games it was very good though:D

  • this might be the worst music in any videogame ever

  • doom 32x vs doom super nes: hum in graphics doom 32x is best, in sound doom super nes is best .

sorry for my ingles im brasilian^^

  • Comment removed

  • The second level sounds like a cat playing a piano whilst someone farts in a bathtub

  • Is that something you regularly listen to?

  • LOL, perfect analogy. XD

  • Spot on !!!!

  • @sc0tt10 sorry i was taking a shit in the bathtub and i can't stop my cat from humping the piano LMAO

  • @sc0tt10 While your neighbours living above you fuck really hard to the original doom theme.
