I don't see Decadence as a thrash metal band. I think it's more close to pure Death Metal with "progressive" and "melodic" elements like "Symbolic"-era "Death". Great band.

To my mind Angela Gossow is a better screamer, but Atomic Kitty is a powerful growler. I generally listen to Arch Enemy for their instrumentists whatever, and I prefer them to Decadence's, but this song is such a great drum part, isnt'it ?

I do not see it as an Arch enemy copy. The woman has got her own way of Grunting and screaming. Unlike Arch enemy they use different speed in the chorus, that is something I like about Decadence.

Sub-genre yes. Maybe not my personal likings, but I'd rather classify it as metal than rock. If you call a little faggotry scene themed bands non-metal, then I think you should also call Black metal and Doom metal non-metal too, because they do not resemble the original Heavy Metal almost at all.

@tuarciano Lol, I think you dont know Arch Enemy truely is. Listen to the very first records. It's as fast and as trash as Decadence. That's quite different from Decadence. Decadence's sound is a little less heavy, especially the lead guitars tones.
