All I did is melt some semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave (please follow the pkg. directions that are found on the back of the bag). Or you melt the semi-sweet chocolate over a double boiler.
I just wanted to know do you have to use a certain brand of chocolate or can you use a sort of fast like drying chocolate after you put it in the fridge?
@Heyzitzaperson My favorite brand of semi sweet chocolate chips is Hershey’s. But, I’ve also used Nestle and Ghirardelli’s. If you do try the “fast drying” chocolate please let me know how it works.
I just wanted to know do you have to get semi sweet chocolate chips because I found a different brand that is usually used for dipping in strawberries then drying really fast.
@Heyzitzaperson I'm not sure about using the "fast drying" chocolate coating for this. I've not used it, so I don't know how it flows to pipe. If it's too syrupy it will be hard to pipe the decorations. Semi-sweet chocolate is a good chocolate to use. However, you do not have to use semi-sweet chips. Baker’s unsweetened sweetened chocolate can be used, however you will sacrifice taste. I do not recommend milk chocolate because it contains milk solids that will make piping hard.
@meance68 Hello, I'm so glad you found my video! All I did is followed the directions on the back of a bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips for melting. (For the video I melted the semi-sweet chips in a microwave). No other ingredients were added. Please let me know how your chocolate "spritz" come out.
I love your videos, they're very explanatory, thank you so much for taking your time to upload the videos, any new videos?

@cakepalate I tried the "fast drying" chocolate, it was perfect for me it was not to syrupy after I cooled it.
