Nintendogs - How to teach your dog to do a handstand

@peggy8910 the dog probably is getting the command mixed up with another one. if two commands sound alike, change one of them. sometimes the game gets confused. Also make sure you're speaking clearly.

Me and my mate keep trying but she isnt doing it someone help plus she is a Labrador and she does do beg straight away so is she ok because she is really loyal. HELP

its the beg trick! :D i did it at the obediance trial and it just did a handstand, lolz and i won the competition its a good trick, it was my dogs first trick<3

i just found out, your dog has to be able to lie down for 10 SECONDS or it wont work

My Beagle Locky lie down but when i say beg it stand up and beg help us

I've got the same dalmation :-) But also a problem... He knows Beg and Lie down, and makes a handstand for 1001 times, but he won't learn it. I believe he made a handst. now for 40 times, and all the 40 times I give the command (which had the good volume etc. because he gets a yellow Icon) but.. he won't learn it.I keep on doing this but after 30/40 times I'm getting a bit frustrated. Surely because the intonation etc. is fine (he gets a yellow icon and not a red ? )...

I remember one time I was in an obedience trial with my old dog and it was free performance, and I told her to beg and she did a handstand and I freaked out x3

I haven't ever tried that, but you should try it. It might work!

If it doesn't, try making your dog forget the lay down command and then reteaching it with a different word. For example, my dog Spots gets confused with some commands. When I used to say "lay down" it would look at me like what? So I retaught it but the command for mine is "Down" in sort of a low voice. She doesn't get confused anymore and lays down! You should try it, it really works.
