Totally agree with everyone here, I wish there was more of this anime! Fucking amazing. No anime has ever made me root for a character so much and want him to K.O the opponent. I also found the manga has over 950 chapters, holy shit. It is deserving seeing as it is that fucking amazing. I mean, I was skeptical about a boxing anime, but my god I take back those words! I'm thinking that after Ippo wins the WBA Championship belt, and after he fights Miyata maybe, then it will flash forward and sadly skip a few of Tak's championship fights.

Tak's fights can't be any better than Brian Hawk I'll tell you that for sure.

well Takamura doesn't have to go through every weight class. I think it's more likely he'll start challenging other world champions so he becomes undisputed. He said at some point he wants to take over the whole world ... which can't be done without defeating the other organisations.

Why are you complaining about the manga being long. That's a good thing. I hope the manga goes on for as long as possible, because it's a great anime. And Takamura's fights can get better, I'm sure of that, because all he's been doing is Defenses. Think about it. He's not fighting any new champions, it's not like it would be hard for him. When he gets to challenge again his fights are gonna be hard core again.
