  • Nice! I was trying to pry mine apart and was getting nowhere. The Judo chop worked perfectly!

  • Rope jam problem solved. The draw string had tied itself up round the axle. Thanks very much for the Karate chop demo to split the case.Worked fine for me.

  • ---------_____________---------

  • Really helpful. Thanks

  • i tryed that on my sighnature didnt make it and now its making a knoking sound

DO NOT HIT YOUR BALL YOU GUYS

  • @JohnKeotes then you had it wrong way.

  • Thank you man!

  • Thanks, man. Instruction works perfectly :)

  • thanks mate! the red wire was stuck inside my ball.. thanks again!

  • @mosaicendk why dont you either get one that starts itself or buy a motor starter for it. I have the exact same model in this vid and I have a motor starter for it, because I cant be arsed with the red cord!

  • awesome i got it just put a flathead in the groove n twist it

  • I DONT WANNA KEEP PUNCHIN MY BALL IS THERE A BETTER WAY :(

  • My powerball is shit. I sent my first one back after an hour of use as it started making an abnormal knocking sound and was noticeably harder to get to high speeds. I've had my new one for a week and it's so full of crap that it's challenging getting it past 3,000 rpm (My best is 11,000+). I have spent the last hour trying to get one of the screws out. The first came out fine but after an incredible amount of effort the second won't. I'm left with an utterly shit waste of money that I can't fix.

  • Why open it anyway

  • Don't bother trying to open one of these; you'll only break it. Like most cheap shit products it wears out quickly and isn't designed to be opened. You certainly won't be able to open it by unscrewing it and hitting it with your hand like in this video would lead you to believe.

  • .. managed to open it just by squeezing it by hands and in between my knees ..

  • NICE sound at 1:00 =)

  • If it doesn't reach the 10k mark, then you might have to replace your outer shells. They can be dented real deep, then it will affect your max rpm.

  • Sorry people. DO NOT HIT THE POWERBALL with your fist as this guy did. hitting the powerball will dent the liitle white plastic band that the powerball sits on and will make the powerball louder and it will not reach as high a speed as it should. to open it use either a flat headed screw driver or even a butter knife at the point where you have to put the screws in. just force it in carefully then pop it open. this will not damage the plastic band

  • I tried that and all it did was break the plastic.

  • @paddyrhcp I dont want to break the places where the screw is in, but when I do it with the butter-knife, it's not popping out but i don't want it to break! what should I do?

  • @nielslol Dont worry about the bits that the screws sit in, it will work regardless with or without screws. Unfortunately there really isnt anyway to open your powerball without affecting the plastic, i.e. warping it or cracking it when you open it -I only mean the plastic case btw, the powerball should be fine. you may just have to apply more pressure with the knife in the right place, it has to go exactly where the screw sits- jam it in a far as it will go and apply pressure until it pops

  • @paddyrhcp Ok, I saw the golden one (powerball gold 350hz light metal raptor) and this one was just screwed in place, watch the vid in the right row of videos a bit down. Thnx for answering, i really appreciate it!

  • @paddyrhcp this is very wrong, USE OF ANY HARDER MATTERIAL OBJECTS ON THE PLASTIC CASE OF POWERBALL WILL DAMAGE IT!!! the hitiing method is very good just that this guy is doying very wrong.!!!!

  • Dang, you broke it in half so easily. I had to smash mine open with a hammer. I was surprised mine even worked after that.

  • why is there lift music playing in the background?

  • hes probably in a lift then :)

    lol

  • thanks the help very good

  • Great ! Thanx

  • i droped mine and now it skips, anyone know anything?

  • ja easy to fix, just spin it at 10k rpm for about 60 seconds. That irons out the problem.

If it doesnt work at first do it about 5/7 times

  • the thing is mine does not reach that after it dropeed

  • is the plastic un breakable im afraid that ima break it

  • seems pretty strong, just make sure u hit it there the 2 peices meet

  • are the Dynaflex powerballs of lower quality compare to the NSD? I don't care about meters or flashing lights. I just want results.

  • where can i get a powerbal

  • do you know something like Google??? :-/

  • i got mine at "mountain high" , any place that sells climbing stuff should have them

  • This may sound weird but for mine, I like to take the top cover off. (no timer/RPM gauge, just plastic :( )

  • The part that the timer sits in.

  • Nice one, worked a treat!

I used a dumbell instead of potentially damaging my fragile fist :)

  • who will invent a gyro ball (massenträgheit) which falls down in slomotion?

  • Does this void the warranty?

  • No, since you can buy spare parts which are official, that you need to open the PB to install (the parts cost next to nothing).

The PB has a lifetime garantee.

Hows that for good service ^_^

  • warranty, not guarantee

  • can't get it open!! even using your method.

  • I have a broken ankle and hit it with the rubber end of one of my crutches after failing to open it by hitting it with the heel of my hand (ouch). The crutch worked like a dream. You have to be sure to line up the screw holes; one directly up, one directly down though...

  • thx man!!!

  • nice tut lol...actually worked on the punching thing

  • This video saved me.

  • ha

i didn't like the sound of the plastic at 1:01 and the following one, sounded permenant :P

    interesting vid

  • is this really safe? I'm afraid to hit it and I think it might leave some permanent damage...

    Please reply!

  • definitely is sir. personally, my powerball's been apart several times through stomps and performs/sounds just fine. NSD recommends using a vice to open it, personally I think this is safer as long as you use a large object to hit it [i. e. foot], nothing that will focus too much pressure on one point

  • worked for me :) I was scared to hit it that hard at first... :D but I did and it did :D didn`t stop the rattling noise thought... it vibrates more than it used to...

  • mine too.. don't know what to 2 to make it better. I think it's because I most of the times didn;t do a firm grip on it.. while it was "cooling down" from the high rpm..

  • i cannt get it open i remove screws but i cant open the ball

  • lo que es el golpe requiere años de practica

  • nie! nierozbierajcie powerballa ponieważ tracicie stałą gwarancje jeżeli chcecie usunąć paprochy to wyjmijcie wyświetlacz i dmuchnijcie.Uwaga paprochy wylatują na was!

  • i have a huge problem, my powerball vibrates more then usual can anybody tell my how to fix it?

  • why would you wanna open it though?

  • to clean it mate cos ma powerballl was dearty like fuck

  • It worked! thanks alot. I'll rate 5 stars ^^

  • i tried hard opening it and i couldnt.could anybody help?

  • mine dont have screws :|

  • i am unable to unscrew the side as the screws are rounded ( screw head messed up)

what can i do now to remove those screw?

  • drill them out and find replacements

  • greatest work! ;P

  • melhor do q com o pé. =)

  • Hey, I for one found this video useful, particularly the part that showed that brute force was a necessary technique. It's not something I would otherwise have resorted to. This video enabled me to get the crap out of my Powerball bearings and get my ball working again. Thanks, poster.

  • I was thinking of doing that to take out the LEDs and replacing them with a different color. I could have figured it out on my own without this video though!

  • im thinking on doing that too but if you do it tell me pls

  • bize analarımız kurcalama bozcan dio.elin oğlu kurcalayarak öğrenio peeeh:D

  • dziki za help:)

  • To be fair, what did you expect? I, for one, found this video rather handy as my powerball was beginning to accumulate crap inside it. Oh, and, if you didn't find it useful, why watch it til the end? Expect something shiny?

  • u must be really stupid

  • wow that was pointless

  • bi siktir ya

  • what is that

  • allah razı olsun

  • Nice technique...but I suggest to remove digital counter also before you squeeze with hands. Trust me...I know what I saying...

  • how?

  • çok sağol hacam

  • great video if one ever needs to put disassembel it for cleaning or somethning

    thanks

  • what was with the bad quality at the begining of the video?

  • omfg, do you really need to know

  • lmao! XD

  • well the point is that for some who want to open it and dont know how, this movie is usefull. mine was all dusty and wanted to clean b/c i was having problems with it.

  • wow! you know how to use screwdriver! awesome! pfffff.

  • Lifetime Guarantee! If there's anything wrong, contact them and its guaranteed to fix or replace. If for any reason you no longer want your powerball send it back for a full complete refund :D

  • I've got one with LEDs and the regular one pictured here...I also wondered why I would ever need to open one. Going on six years or so and they've never needed to be "cleaned".

  • Very Nice!

  • Many thanks for teaching this... thanks to you my powerball is working again! I thought it was broken but it just needed a quick clean.

  • Can't open it with the fist... At least I'm afraid not to whack too hard and break it!

  • phs, they got lifetime warranty dont they? or is it just 'lifetime guarantee' im scared to hit mine too.

  • Hey, I whacked mine five times with increasing force before it finally popped because I had trepidation about the whole procedure, but it worked fine. Just make sure not to use a hard tool.

  • i tried opening it with my fist but it didn't work i had to drop a dumbell on it!

  • nice technique of opening and closing it O.o

usually i put the screwdriver between the gap and bend it till it opens... seriusly cracks the sphere tho.. to close it i just sit on it O.o

  • why would i want to dissemble it in the first place?

  • To fix it, clean it etc.

  • Thanks, this has helped me greatly

  • no problems!
