I'm laughing at these pseudo-thrashers. Mustaine has shown he's gettin' better year after year, both at his singin' and at his guitar skills. Risk is my least favorite Megadeth album, and I still like it. It is still metal, not thrash, but it was most likely a need to Marty's artistic feelings. United Abominations and Endgame are cosistant proofs that Megadeth is still able to stay several years on the road.

@bessamana Mustaine didn't write Seek and Destroy (check the credits on the album). Also, if you knew anything about copywrite (i'm guessing you don't) then you'd know that as long as whoever was responsible for writing the song was credited (which he was) then it's okay.

Also, it's somewhat delusional to think that Mustaine was an integral part of Metallica becoming what they are today. Master of Puppets is a heavy metal masterpiece that shits over anything Mustaine has ever done. That's a fact

@CohenAfterward Oh yeah? I think Master of Puppets is the best metallica album, but it's nowhere near Rust in Peace. Rust in Peace has got to be one of the best metal albums ever done. Nick Menza pisses all over Lars, Marty is a million times more creative musician than Kirk, and Dave's vocals kick ass on the album. I don't think Metallica won't EVER be able to play a songs like Take No Prisoners, Rust in Peace... Polaris, Holy Wars, Poison Was The Cure. I love Master,but Rust in Peace is better

Metallica sucks live compared to megadeth. James lost his voice back in '98, Lars is even worse that he is on albums. Only Kirk can still do good, but he's not as good as Broderick. I think it's obvious who's a better live band

I'd hardly rate the black album as classic, the best song on that by a mile is the unforgiven. Don't tread on me, hollier than thou are good, enter sandman is overplayed as is nothing else.
