get rid of that lowwer, replace it with a metal one, get rid of the trash flash suppressor and replace it with a compensator, and that would be a nice rifle, other then that I like it
@PlaneAU Scar 16s (Scar-Ls for military) were canceled due to it being only 0.7% (test worth over 60,000 rounds per gun) more reliable than standard M4s/16s and having less accuracy, however, the Scar-H (7.62 x 51 variant) will be set to replace the m14 (more likely than not).
@PlaneAU No it's not, specially when you have SAM-Rs and SPR m16 variants out there. My friend's Scar is about 2.5-3.7 (1+/- moa) with good ammo, my AR does .5 - 1.2 inch groups at 100 yards with same ammo and both at a benchrest.
Another thing on Wolf ammo; why have a flash hider if your cases hitting the ground are 10x as loud as brass and emit sound longer (with the "bell" effect)? Am I the only one researching this stuff? Wolf ammo should be avoided like explosive poisoned nuclear napalm AIDS
At $2300, I'll go for a completely reworked and accurized M-16 variant with milled internals for half this price, and 1000 meter sniper quality. If I was in sand, give me one loose as hell so parts keep moving when I need them to.
@wolf ammo: I'd never use that garbage ever again. Take a few boxes apart and weigh powder and see how easy some bullets come out of the crimp. 5.56 in steel (and some are plastic alloy) cases? Berdan primed? Yeah, I'll pass.
It's a shame the price is so high, you can get some AR platforms for under $1000. I would like to buy the scar but will have to wait for the price to settle. Nice video.
you get morewith this gun though. its worth more in quality, its able to be shot by south poles, jamed 228 time in a 60,000rnd test when a ar15 james 889 or something like that.
if i was a soldier i want a scar. but the army worries to much about cost and not the soldier himself
thx for the vids BlackRifle., looks like a great store and a good bunch of guys., wish you could make these comments for 18yrs and up though., lots of comedians out there these days
is it true that if u used longer barrels the more it is accurate but less in control and if u used shorter barrel the more it is controled and less acurate?
@withtheoldbreed i have shot both, i personally prefer the FN SCAR 16 (aka SCAR L) because of it being a little heavier and it helps with recoil even with the 7.62x59mm round
@PMAN46 MY local gun show was sellin a black one for around $1500.00 can't remember the excact price. uh oh, should dropped the money with the prices i'm reading
I want one, I will gladly pay 3000 dollare for one. But I live in Massachusetts so I may nover see one. If anyone has any info. about a Mass. comp. model let me know.
@tootall1911 expect to pay about $2,500 for this gun in 5.56X45 and $3,500 for the same gun, chambered in .308winchester. I live in Boise Idaho and they are in stock where I live so, you should be able to get your hands on one.
Foaming at the mouth, I need this. Thinking of selling 2 ARs to get this baby. This gun matches every one of my requirements for a tactical sheepdog rifle.
@FromyColdeadHands The SCAR isn't as good as people show it to be. I won't lie, it's very controllable and it's very light, but you have to shoot high quality ammunition because otherwise the tappet may not fully drive the bolt carrier back. The stock is wobbly as hell too, although they may have fixed it. Then again this is all my opinion and my experience. If you wanna get one more power to you!

@Maincodeman a few coloration issues but they sorted them out I think. its because they're different materials.

CalicoatMaker 10 months ago
@CalicoatMaker Because a flash hider doesn't dampen the sound of the gun firing. It reduces the muzzle flash.

both SCAR and ACR are amazing. i still like the ACR more. I'd like to see them both in the U.S. army. they are sooooo cool. XD
Fn is a legendary manuafcter. they've always made awesome weapons such as the P90, FAL, M240 and now the SCAR.
talking about the ACR, I'm happy both Bushmaster and Remington pieces are made by Remington. Bushy sucks.
