And what's so bad about it? I've got one and I couldn't be happier. I love the interior compared to the older ones, the outside looks sharp and sleek. I do agree, they could've done a better job on the rear end, but it's not ugly by any standards.

The US focus is a piece of crap compared to the Euro... look at that horrible interior and the front end.

I LOVE my 2008 Ford Focus,I have the 5 speed Manual and when driving around 37 miles every day on the express way I got around 37 MPG! That's going around 70 and mostly on the express way.

Yeah, it depends on how you drive the car. I didn't use the air, and if I did it was only if I really need to. The other things is that I drove really long distences using the cruse, and filled my tank with the recamended BP gas. With this winter, I only get around 29.8 MPG b/c I use the heat,warm up my car, and I am only drive in the city. I really miss the 37 MPG I was getting this summer!

Where the correction came up at 33 mpg highway, thats because he was driving the automatic. The manual gets 35.

The materials and the design fall behing japanese models.I don't know but it seems that american companies just can't find the formula to build a hit in the compact car segment. Everything is crappy in the small car segment for american companies.They will have to compete better cause tougher times are coming.If they don't do it well they will perish.

cubanboy1981, I have an '05 Corolla. Reliable? No question. Fun? Gives you that itch to just go drive? Absolutely not. It's a huge BORE and I'm sorry I purchased it. I'll take a Focus in Silver, please.

You will lose out a little, but do like I did. I traded my Hyundai Elantra in for a new Focus SEL and am very happy so far. The Elantra is a nice car, but not fun at all. No tech really either. The Focus just made driving fun and interesting again. I also got a bizarre color, to add to the fun, amber gold.

I'll give you the Civic, but Corolla's and Sentra's are crap. As for girls buying the Focus, I see just as many guys driving these things and considering that gas has hit $4.23a gallon where I live,I am seriously thinking about parking my truck and buying one.

thanks for checking them out, and the SYNC system is soooo worth it! Trying to navigate your mp3 player while driving is difficult and dangerous, the sync system makes it painless!

I couldn't agree more about the operation of an MP3 player and simultaneously trying to drive. The Sync system is the #1 reason I considered the Focus. The car's styling seems to polarize people but I like it (side vents being the exception).

Ford has a styling refresh coming this Summer for the Focus. Will you be adding an update once it's available for sale? Thx again.

I'm not sure. I work with the local dealerships to get cars to drive, so it sort of depends on what they'll let me do, but I probably could arrange it

Your reviews are REALLY good. You really show the interior and other things about the car. True, it is an improvement over the old one, I rode in my math teacher's Focus station and it sucks! It's loud and uncomfortable. Thank God that Mom drives an MDX (stylish but it just has the tech pkg) and Dad drives an RL (he's getting an M45 next which will have the Premium Package!). You should test the M45 or MDX!
