this music and the film got me throught very dark times, when i was young and impressionable, but this music still to this day keeps me carm , i love brad freidal and waht he did with the music for t1 and t2 he will always be my musical hero , i am a terminater music fan and would love to hear any music of t2 in brass

haha, me too!! I really think this is the best theme ever written for a movie. These days i listen a lot to the T1 soundtrack. It is awesome too! Have you seen the great interview of Brad Fiedel by a Japanes Interviewer? That one is cool! He plays the terminator theme on the piano together with the reporter O_O

This is the best piano version of this song I heard. Really really nice.

(I disagree about the Terminator 4 music though, I think it sucked and few parts were worth it, the opening being one of those few 'good' pieces though; I think he just ruined the terminator theme franchise)

Thank you for your kind comment:-) And i agree with you. Track 1 (the opening) and Salvation (track 14) are awesome. And i like track 3 and 5 also. But i don't like the other ones also:-) And of course it would be better to hire Fiedel again. But i think he stopped with making filmmusic :( :( Although he wanted to work on T3!! That would have been epic!! :( The T3 soundtrack is really awful although it contains an orchestra version of the terminator 2 song,but Beltrami ruined it in my opinion...

Yes exactly those are the tracks I like in T4 wow.

For Beltrami, I also agree that he "ruined" the theme, but he had a few emotional parts.

For instance the track "Radio", even though it's not very Terminator-ish, is very emotional.

So while Beltrami's track sucks Terminator-wise (at least he had the theme at the credits compared to Elfman...), some of the tracks are good. If you have the soundtrack give it another listen to the more emotional parts. It's good IMO.

haha=D Cool! I also like the radio theme very much!! It is by far the best track on that album. All others are bad except the one of Fiedel although he really ruined it. If i want to listen to it i listen to the perfect version of Fiedel himself:-) And your right about Elfman. It is too bad he didn't make a Fiedel version although he did it in the opening track a little i think. Too bad they deleted some cues from the soundtrack while it was used in the movie:(You know the: ta-Ta-ta-ta-Ta part

And about the second one! Yeah it is definetely the best. Together with Braveheart the best movie ever in my opinion:D And yeah the rhythm is very tricky. When you see the rythm on the sheets it looks very complicated so therefore i think i will make a tutorial to make things more clear:-)
