@xRadicalAurax They both have the same game, but the game of the year edition has Knights of the Nine and Shevering Isles what makes the game even bigger that it is! so yes, i prefer game of the year edition

@xRadicalAurax The game of the year edition is by far better because you get all the DLC included, and bethesda did a great job on all the DLC. You only get achievements/trophys for One of the dlcs the others are just play. BUT they are all great DLC.

do you want to know how to get 100 sneak?? just spam the prisoners pocket and eventually you get it and it doesnt take that much time like 30min to do that and its basicly not even cheating lol i came up with it my self and i have never seen a video or heard of anyone else done it but there you go i reveal my secret for you.

Is this game for PC ? I would love to try this AND Oblivions expansions because Oblivion itself got boring after countless hours of gameplay. I only had a few quests left, others were all solved and I was in every faction.

I have a question. I bought this from gamestop but I think they gave me the wrong copy. How will I know if its the GOTY edition. Its on PS3 btw. It just shows as Oblivion and unlike Fallout 3's GOTY it doesn't show downloads and have the expansions there.

@UseYourDisillusions yeah, dont pick up everything you find, most noobs do this and waste valuable inventory space and time running back and forth to sell their goods, when all they are going to get is a few pennys.

Also, is there any benefit to buy a place early in the game. I think that I saw a cabin for sale in Burma for 10,000. Thanks for your help and if you want to call me a "noob" than no worries!

@UseYourDisillusions there is a house in anvil (a really big house with all already equipped) for 5.000 gold and you only need to do a quest after that to get it full working

@trakerlord Nice!Man, I was well into and enjoying Oblivion GOTY and then I was talked into buting Fallouut 3 GOTY by a Gamestop friend. Needless to say, it's been to months and nothing but Fallout 3. I love Oblivion as well, but I can only play one at a time. @UseYourDisillusions wasnt calling you a noob, your doing the right thing, all i was pointing out is that picking up items such as "iron war axe" or rusty/shoody items is a waste of time, if you calculate the weight versus the sell price.

@UseYourDisillusions Buying a house early is an optional thing, on the one hand its very expensive comparing to armour and weapons, but essentially if your looking for a place to store stuff before you move onto a house, try the chest at the bottom of the sea in the imperial city port. if you go to the far right as you enter the port, and drop into the water, you can swim down and find a chest. great place to store stuff

Hi, this is an important question. i bought this game a few days ago, and when i put it in my Ps3 it only comes up as oblivion, is it suppose to come up as oblivion game of the year edition?

Also do the expansions require a download? Or are they already in the game?

No problem, mine says only Oblivion too, the expansions are in the disc, no need to download, our install, you got it all in just that disc...

I found out the PC and 360 versions have two discs. Of course the PS3 version has one because it is on a Blu-Ray disc. I wonder when PC games will move to Blu-Ray or higher capacity discs....
