Tell me how you do the 'tomato zuchini pots'? Just boils and put them in? Got a lot of them in my garden as well but I freeze them. In pots would be easier I think.

We cook, can and put them in the pressure cooker to seal properly. When we are ready to eat we just open up jar, cook some pasta and make a salad and there is our dinner.

My husband is the one who pretty much does the cooking and jarring of the food.

My mom freezes them to and when she wants fresh zucchini, there it is and it still tastes great.

The garden looks good. When you can your tomato and zucchini, how do you do it? Pressure cooker? Do you add anything else to them?

I do add some lemon juice before I tighten the lid. It's actually a pressure canner. Since there is no meat it can keep on the shelf for about a year.
