People ask me how I volunteer doesn't it break your heart knowing some of the pets wont make it out alive?

I tell them this.

Yeah some of these pets wont make it out alive but what kind of life is it to be put someplace to never be loved again?

Even if some of the animals dont make it out at least the time they had left I was there for them giving them just a little happiness. Animals live for the moment and you have to try to make each moment special.

i know :( but at least they all got adopted...except for 2. they're still at the shelter waiting! its the dog at 0:36 (Bessie) and the dog at 2:31 (Lexi) i hope they get a home soon!
