I think he just meant it as a dish as Thanksgiving. I had NEVER heard of serving mac and cheese at Thanksgiving until earlier today when I was watching the Thanksgiving special on the Food Network (of course, it was a white kid talking about it). Pat Robertson is a tool, and I don't think it's a black thing, but it's certainly not mainstream to eat Mac and Cheese at Thanksgiving.

I could be wrong, but I think Pat was referring to the Mac and Cheese being a part of Thanksgiving and Christmas meal. Most families usually go with classics:green bean cass., stuffing, mash and gravy and so on, I think it tripped him out that it had to be at these events. It is a great side dish, and no I wouldn't have thought of serving it at these times. I think he is asking a legit question if black families usually eat this as a side dish, but I think he didn't ask in a very nice manner.
