the pikmin sounds like minions from the overlord games all incredibly stupid the red sound like the green and brown, the yellow sound like the red ones (except no building) and the blue ones are like the blue minions (PS the Overlord games are m+) and the captain looks like the main charicture from microscopic Morton (A kids tv show) (Sorry for typos)

idk if this has been mentioned but the Smoky Progg is an OPTIONAL boss that can be bypassed by not touching the egg; it's also pretty cool that Pikmin 3 has been confirmed to be in the making [w00t!]

I just recently got this game (I missed it when it first came out and I was probably too young to be able to beat it anyway) and I love it. Great review, but I think the day/night part fits in with the game perfectly. I do think that it would've been interesting if the game let you stay on the planet at night and there would be insane amounts of enemies as a consequence, but that's just me. Also, does the smoky frog or whatever only appear on day 15? I didn't ever fight him. Maybe I'll go back.

Pikmin is awesome. Original, smooth gameplay, awesome music, epic plot...

Yeah, the music is serene, but that's what Shiguru miyamoto thought of when he made it. I am stuck in an annoying part in SMG,so I'm playing this ATM I like it beter than 2 mainly bcuz when you kill something, you get more Pikmin, instead of just money, which is only used once.

Pikmin isn't an RPG, it's a platformer. RPG's have a turnbase battle system, while platforming is mostly collecting items, learning new moves, and exploring new areas. Also, the reason you do not play at night is because the creatures all wake up at night, so it would make the game even more hard for you to play.

Actually that is not true. Some RPG's(labeled Action RPG's) have Real Time battles(like Kingdom Hearts)

Tough choice... I'll put it this way, if you've played alot of Mario games you might wanna try something new and get Pikmin, but New Super Mario Bros. is a great game so if you really like Mario get it anyway because it's one of the best in the series.

I remember playing the first one when it came out. If I recall, it was anything but relaxing! The time-limit was so nerveracking. So were some of the monsters. It was fun though. I ought to get it again, I lost my copy.
