A Brilliantly crafted album, whether or not the band liked it or not. It's fun to just play it in a dark room and listen to it all the way through. However, it'[s not for casual listeners.
Stop bitchin' and enjoy the music. Thank god for drug induced music and youtube. Sure it can kill but anything thing can be toxic if you take too much.
Flowin in the the path, as leads the darkness in the math.... Love that song, it is one of the only trully great tracks on the 2nd disc of Ummagumma. Although Wright has a beautiful piano piece on that disc also....
Pink Floyd never took LSD. Rick tried it once, and hated it. Pink Floyd don't need drugs to be creative, and origonal, unlike other bands of the 60's, and 70's.
Pink Floyd never took LSD, so I'm not entirely sure what your trip is. Rick tried it once, and he said he hated it. Pink Floyd don't need drugs to be creative, and origonal, unlike other bands of the 60's, and 70's.
I used to own this cassette, I wanted to know all the music Pink Floyd made, not just the top 40 ones that got radio play. Thats how I can weed out Posers!!!!!
The song with David singing is The Narrow Way parts 1-3. The flute and drums is The Grand Vizier's Garden Party. Flute was played by Nick's first wife, Lindy.
Ummagumma (something to do with sex, apparently...) was the first vinyl LP I ever bought and, for me, the live album was and remains Pink Floyd's finest...

Well, Syd took LSD, obviously, 'cause it made him loony, but you're right, the others didn't.

It turns out in the new millennium LP's are worth the general intelligence and worthiness of their owners. So in your case I should say tuppence.

No, the first 20 seconds of this video is The Narrow way, pt. 2. I figured it out.

Syd wasn't on Ummagumma at all ... only the first album and part of the second. He was long gone from Floyd by this point.
