It's not a competition for who's the "best fan" of rhcp either... I consider myself a fan of rhcp, but personally I love their older funkier stuff and I hate the newer melodic stuff. I'm with you sucks. If you like their music you like them, you're a fan, etc. you don't need to read scar tissue or know which guitarist came when or whatever.

What can I say? I LOVE RHCP. They are my favorite rock band of all times. And yes, I mean it: ALL TIMES.

But last two albums did not fill me, I believe that change is important, but I think that still they did not find the exact seam, for going in this new stage.

That does it make me less of a fan? Each one can say whatever want to say... I LOVE RHCP. Now, and forever.

But to dismiss RHCP because you may not like them now, and even their replacement of John. For me I will find it easy to like the album. This is about the only band that I feel that way about. I for one am excited about the next album, and I hope you give it a listen too!

@Razylll It's just, when i think of RHCP, i think of John, Flea, Chad and Anthony. And when i think of RHCP i think of their albums which made me love them. Albums like Freaky Styley, Mothers Milk and BSSM. And it makes me sad to think that they won't be able to achieve a sound like that again. But don't get me wrong. I won't dismiss them, nor will i dismiss the new album. I will buy the album because i love RHCP, but i won't be looking forward to it too much. Maybe it'll surprise me. Who knows?
