  • You got a really great deal. The prices for these seem to be on the rise now and getting one for less than $300 is getting slimmer unless really rough through-and-through and then some. I've seen some real dogs for $400+.

I have a 1907, 1915 and 1917, all .32s. I actually carry mine from time to time. The first one I got was the '17 for $189. I went into the shop to look at the Kel-Tec and wasn't impressed. The guy brought out the Savage to show me and that was it, I found what I wanted.

  • @retroflow44 Winchester is good. S&B may actually be better. The rim profile on Remington is more pronounced than Win/S&B which can easily lead to rim-lock. I can't remember if I ever checked-out Federal; If I did, it's the same as Remington. The way to test is to engage the rims, press and try to slide them apart against the rims. Win/S&B will catch a little but give easily. Remington and possibly Federal will snag and require more effort. The more they snag, the more rim-lock potential.

  • All I can say is you totally stole that Savage 1907 pistol!!! If that is the original finish and it hasn't been re-blued it would start at $400!!! and go from there!

I paid $325 for the one in my video and it's about maybe 60-75% on the finish!

What a sweet deal my friend! You scored big time congratulations!!!!

Never seen the other little revolver but cool piece of history and I'll see if

I have anything on it. Not an expert mate just an enthusiast! =) Thanks for posting!

  • @rugersix Awesome dude, let me know somthing, but dont waste too much time on it its just a little pistol

  • nice. when i saw the movie, i never though it was a 22lr lol. Just never shoot Remington golden bullets, they are garbage.

  • @louie000007 i agree i like to shoot the winchester 333 22lr. they are a bit cleaner too.
