  • I have the flu and right I'm in bed watching this vid while I drink a smoothie :P xD

  • how old is that snake because im getting one and i want to know aprox

  • Very nice video and beautiful snake i mite add. Isnt that a mouse tho? :P cheers

  • <3 snakes

  • I wish people wouldn't hate snakes because this is how they eat....yet people think of lions as cuteand cuddely when they gash open there prey and disembowl it Id rather be choked by a snake than have my insides spilt out

  • @PsychoCrusher618 I wouldn't, death by a lion would be a lot quicker. Asphyxiation is a horrible way to go.

  • @PsychoCrusher618 Yeah. People make teddy bears but not teddy snakes. Why? Because they think bears are cute and cuddly. However, in real life, bears are more dangerous than snakes. Bears are far from cuddly while snakes can be extremely tame. It's time people should get real.

  • @LoveDoggsDawgs I have a GTP but am also in a program working with wild animals and people like bears because they are more identifiable to humans they care for their young and protect them for years which is main reason they can be dangerous by the way. Any animal keeper who has worked with bears and GTP's will for sure tell you that you can develop a very close bond with a bear not really at all with a snake.

  • Nothing vile in the natural world. The natural world is simply as it is. Our reaction to processes in nature may be one of repulsion at times, but it doesn't alter the fact that it is all of a natural order. No good or bad in nature; only the way things are.

  • U could just stun the rat duhhhh then feed it problem solved your snake won't get hurt even breeders recommend stunning the rat

  • The lowest.

  • As for the live bait, is the mammal at least acceptable?。I think it is vile even if what reason exists.

  • @tae36230 What the fuck are you talking about?? Not all snakes will eat Frozen/Thawed so you have to use live bait as a "last resort". The snake is FAR more important than a stupid mouse/rat.

    It's nature!! Deal with it!!

If you don't like this sort of thing then, don't search the fucking vids!! It's COMMON SENSE which you clearly fucking lack.

  • @ProTuner06 I think that thinking that the law of the jungle is natural in the natural world is not Common Sense. And, it connects with "Beginning of the world" of "Biohazard". It has understood well. Thanx +

  • Watching this video and listening to The Alchemist builds tension

  • I created a site, showmyreptile com, where you can upload pics, videos, start discussions, chat w/ other members, and start groups. Looking for members, would love for you to join. Thanks!

  • 00:44 *YAWN*

  • @damaniek12 Gettin' his jaw ready to eat!

  • What type of Dimensions should I have for one of these. Normelly I let my Snakes lose in the flat but my new room mate is yo wtf man. thing almost killed me. And my mum plans to get me one for my bday.

  • that mouse was a damn good climer

  • ive got 3 of these guys at hoime

  • I had a boa lose an eye to a rat once. I will never feed live to one of my snakes again. Most snake CAN be trained to accept f/t. It's the safest way to go.

  • @giraquaza16 most snakes only eat live prey

  • Dear broken record: Not all snakes will eat dead prey.

  • awsome video i want a gtp are they aggressive?i have a retic which is moody

  • @jesserogans mines wc and ive tamed him enough to fold for short periods of time.

  • holy shit the snake is fast o.o this truely is a remarkable animal

  • @giraquaza16 ok i'll repeat it you dumbass, all my snakes are fed F/T, but if you cant stand to see a snake hunt how it would in the wild, I dont think you should really be a part of herpetology

  • @giraquaza16 I do care about animals, and I feed all my snakes F/T rats, but does it make a difference, those frozen thawed rats didnt "get a chance to discover and know the things about mother nature." and I do care about rats I used to keep them as pets.

  • why is it everytime i think of Python, i think of Monty.

  • ever worried bout the mouse scratching, biting and all that to the snake ?

  • @giraquaza16 dont watch then...

  • seen this video 11 times today lol

  • i feed mine cheap birds such as a finch or a parakeet

  • Super jeedee: your an idiot. Green tree pythons do not grow large enough to "eat" and human. If it could I'd feed mine morons like you!

  • Is the tree python a snake that can be handled?

  • if raised in captivity, yes

  • flawless predators......

  • is the python fully grown?

  • needs dramatic music ahah :) lovely snake

  • nice chondro bro...one of my locality snake...:)

  • très beau morelia viridis aru, mon rêve d'en avoir un!!!!

  • that mouse is way to small ... he will need 4 of those !! LOL

  • awsome vid. not trying to put my opinions on u and u may to this out of safety reasons but isnt that mouse a little small for a snake that size. i fed my 23-24in red tail a big mouse, bout that size id say and it did fine. to be fair i didnt realise how big the mouse was til i fed it to her but it was her first live feeding and she did fine. as for the whole "live feeding is wrong" shit, i bred kingsnakes for years and almost every meal was a live animal, mouse, bird, lizard or other snakes.

  • I dont like the kind of snakes that constrict their prey

  • its a mouse

  • great snake

  • Awesome gtp but I'm against live feeding. You put your snake at serious risk.

  • @Ollievarium

It seems like a lot of people are, but I feed my snakes live and they're fine. They don't take F/T and the frozen mice lack a lot of the same nutrients that live do. (And yes, I could buy vitamins but why do that when I can just feed live?) I understand some people are to squeamish to feed live, but some people aren't and it's not a bad thing. As long as you're not feeding them to difficult of prey they shouldn't get injured. And as long as you're supervising it's fine.

  • Awesome

  • That grunting sounds like someone might have been masturbating while watching this happen. In feeling that certain people actually seem to get a thrill by regularly watching a snake squeeze the life out of a mouse, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if that was what was truly happening in the background. S-T-R-A-N-G-E .....

  • the bare necessities the simple bare necessities...

  • Comment removed

  • lalalalalalalalalalalala..... BAM!!!

  • why do the mice always go strait for the snake

  • how big

  • nice strike

  • your green tree is beautiful.. nice enclosure too very cool.

  • Good vid, but that looks like a mouse not a rat.

  • thats a mouse not a rat mate, nice gtp too.

  • That strike and constriction...poetry in motion. Beautiful snake! : )

  • nice habitat! why do you not take him/her out for feeding?

  • i know you aren't asking me, but i'll give my two cents worth. Snakes are smarter than people realize and believe it or not they know the difference between a mouse and a hand as long as your hand doesn't smell like rat in my opinion. I'm not expert but this is based my personal experience.

I don't own a green tree but with an arboreal snake you would have to build another tank with branches and such.

  • lol look at pinky...the brain must be like i had a plan to take over the world, but not that way

  • for the people who hate on your or any other people who feed live rats to your snakes i have 4 snakes 3 ball pythons and a jungle carpet python and 1 of the ball pythons and the jungle want nothing to do with prekill rats wont eat even after weeks without eating so somthimes that all you can do

  • Thats my favorite kind of snake nice video

  • Beautiful snake!

I don't agree with feeding live, but each to their own. How old is it? And where abouts are you from?

  • Great video love the snake...

  • amazing animal

  • @saiiiko The snake or the rat?

  • those are 2,700 as babies and 14,000 as adults

  • this is just a GTP there only like 300 dollars

  • it is interesting! they must have good coordination between depth perception and memory from the last feeding.

  • Very interesting how the snake calculates the distance to the mouse and the necessary reserve of body length to achieve a successful attack.

  • I saw on of those snakes at the petshop. it was 600$. its not common so.

  • breeders sell them for $2000

  • i love when snakes yawn there jaws lol

  • they do feel it, most humane is CO2

  • awesome looking GTP.

cant you feed it larger than that mouse though? looks like it could at least take a med rat

  • they dont feel getting frozen to death...are you retarded its one of the most painful ways to die

  • i agree. Also feeding frozen/thawed prey to snakes sucks because the frozen rodent loses nutrients over time. The best method of feeding reptiles is Freshly killed prey. Simply Whack the rat or mouse and feed the snake in a separate bin. (if you cant do this dont buy a snake)

  • Comment removed

  • because you dont like it everyone should not do it? Hey Everyone....We have to return our snakes to the wild because this guy said they are not "pets" I guess I have to get a plane ticket to Columbia now. Crap. Opinions are like assholes guy....snakes are great pets btw.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh no! My brain on drugs! Dont hurt my feelings too much now....lol What are you twelve? Grow up and just respect the fact the some people like to be reptile keepers and your too much of a pussy to do it.

  • i'm dumb, but you look up snake feedings just to tell the reptile community snakes aren't good pets? Hmmmm....Maybe you should think before you talk about something in which you have no idea what you are saying? Just an idea.

  • Comment removed

  • No my comment couldn't have dumbfounded you to the point where you literally have to come back at me with pretty much exactly what i said Could it? You are pathetic. I'm glad you don't own snakes...That's the last thing some gorgeous reptile needs is to be in your brain damaged care.

  • I am done talking to you if you didn't catch the hint.

To be more direct....you should hang yourself so as not to infect the human race with your idiocy.

  • Comment removed

  • @YargDisease sounds to me as though he, himself, is afraid of "infecting the human race," as he so unpoetically puts it. Quit flattering yourself, YargDisease, by thinking that you or anybody has the power to "infect the human race" -- whatever that may mean.

  • lol

  • how big is you gtp

  • Very beautiful snake. Where did u get him. How much?

  • hey. cool video i am looking to buy a green tree python and all i wanted to know was how much did this snake cost??

  • This is like Jack and the beanstalk!

  • Shut the fuck up. You know absolutely nothing about snakes.

  • lol............you think its more humane to freeze a rat to death then let it die the way nature intended........

  • exactly

  • its a mouse for sure..

  • is he agressive

  • this is ta translation of what ta japanes dude, tae36230 , said Nature is really what is the law of the jungle?

This snake is a miserable creature with no live bait YUKENAI Student

  • 自然界は本当に、弱肉強食なのですか?

    この蛇は生餌がないと生きてゆけないみじめな生き物ですか?

  • yes.

all the moslims migrate .. it's in these days.

and i know about what you said ...

there's nothing we can do about u having sars ...

    i realy can't help u with that !

  • It translates because it commented on Japanese. 「If it is not really the law of the jungle, the natural world will be able to live. Is this snake a miserable living thing that cannot live if there is no live bait?」It retransmits because it became it to translate.

  • wow that was fucking awsome

  • looks pretty much to an etb to me??

  • nice snake but why is the video labeled eating live rat tht looks to me like a mouse

  • i want a yellow ball python but if my ashole father will see it in the house i dont know what will happen haha he wont lett me even have a green lizzard evena kid can have that

  • thts a gorgeous snake man

  • 100% profesionalny film pozdro daro.

  • I've been doing a lot of research on Green Tree Pythons, but I can't find a good place to buy one. Where do you suggest?

  • if it will be your first snake dont get a green tree python tbh start with a small snake like or corn snakeor rat snake but if you realy want a python go for a royal/ball python.

  • I already have two snakes, both royal pythons. I've been wanting to "branch" out for a while now. Where can I find a tree python like this one?

  • It looks like a boa....

  • Dude freakin nice snake. I got two corn snake but my mom would never let me have a tree python where you buy um?

  • You don't afraid that rat will scar your snake?

  • He'll be fine. My friend has been feedin glive for 12 years and only had one of his snakes get hurt from a rat.

  • I feed my californian royal snake with a little bit larger mouse and she couldn't strangle him and she got 4 scars. So now I am a little bit afraid to give her a live prey. :/

  • wow that sucks. your snake's okay though right? im suprised a mouse could do that, most of the time the snakes have no problems

  • She is ok but she was stressed out that day. But it was a quite large mouse. I must give her something smaller she can easily kill. My other snakes have no problems with killing. Only my ball python doesn't want to eat white rats, only gray ones. lol

  • haha grey rats only? thats funny! ya i guess. the mice will fight for their lives...so it is best to feed frozen. how many snakes do you have?

  • I have 3. And now I finally got money for green tree python. I want him sooo bad. lol :D Do you think they are aggressive? How many snakes do you have?

  • right now i have 7. a king, two bp's, 2 corns, a red sided garter, and a honduran milk. also have a crested gecko, getting a tokay gecko soon. they arent known for being aggressive, they're just very fragile snakes when they are babies. they arent great eaters, eating once a month usually. they're one of my favorite non venomous snakes though! not that active, but friendly like any other animal that you own from when its a baby and take good care of it

  • Nice snakes. :) My are all eating once a week. Never turned down food yet. lol I have Lampropeltis getulus californiae albino, Lampropeltis pyromelana pyromelana + Ball P. My friend has tokay. They are nuts. When you wanna put him in a hand they start to scream. LOL

  • ya actually my friend jsut came over and gave me a tokay hahah. i asked him if he could get me one and he said by next week, well i got one tonight. this guys just a baby, probably a month old...tiny tiny little guy, hes not even biting me or barkin, i tihnk i got a keeper!

  • nice vid like the snake :D

  • Wow o.O

Makes me wish I still fed my ball python live... First time I ever dropped a live mouse in he grabbed it mid-air.

  • how big do they get! it beautiful! but i dont thing i may going to get one dont know much about! but beautiful!

  • check out ondre200 he has a ETB

  • what kind of food does it eat

  • Rats,Mice things like that.

  • haha awesome.

can different types of gtps breed? say a sorong gtp and a biak gtp?

  • wats more vicious....green tree python or green tree boa?

i think owning a boa is way more to say but which are friendlier?

  • Boas and pythons are basically the same thing. Since they're both constrictors they're generally friendlier than most venomous snakes, so it's probably the same level of tolerance. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

  • A little bit more different then that lol. Boas are live barriers and pythons hatch eggs, and there is something different in the bone structure in the head i believe. The boa that is closest to the python family is the anaconda, The reason for it to be considered closest is because of its love for water just like Burmese and stuff. Few good points for you.

  • anacondas are live bearers too.. how can that be close to a python? also pythons have heat sensitive pits on their jaw line, boas dont.

  • I have one It is 5 feet long his name is Brutis

  • Top cages!!!

    Super video!!!

  • so if i filmed my rats / mice canabalising there offspring because of birth defects u would say no one should own pet rodents?

or a dog eating a stray cat

srsly think alittle outside the box

nature isnt some happy dream with fluffy clouds and lollipops

  • oh hey its fifty cents latest lyrics =O

  • if im not mistaken the locale is aru. usually pretty easy to spot with the gorgeous solid green with the white random scales. and as for the debate about keeping them. even captive born babies are 90% of the time very nippy and have been known to even bite themselves. generally people dont recommend handling before the first year as its too much stress. but i know many adults chondros who can be handled during the day. at night isnt so much a good idea.

  • You know I totally agree. That's a really good point that people shouldn't own snake and what you said about the little cre.... GO FUCK YOURSELF!!! YOU HEAR ME?! GO FUCK YOURSELF AND EAT VEGETABLES THE REST OF YOUR LIFE FAGGOT! and to the poster of the vid sorry 4 the profanity, but this PETA bitch needs 2 be taught a lesson. kickass GTP :D

  • Lovley snake, how much do green tree pythons cost to buy? (in australia)

  • WOW! that snkae is skillfull, the accuracy is right on with speed too!....thats gonna be a healthy happy snake.

  • Great kill! And there are few snakes that compare to the beauty of this one. Green tree pythons and emerald tree boas are the most beautiful animals on the planet IMO.

  • lol you suck i love snakes and the sounds of the little mouses bones cracking "CRUNCH!!" hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • This is amazing haha. The little mouse like like "Wow they gave me this whole cage to myself!!??...wow this looks like a great branch to climb on...." then BAM! HAHA

  • That is what I would call an appropriatly sized prey item... As opposed to most people who like to feed there snakes over sized prey...Which is a Huge Risk... Again... don't talk if you don't know what you are talking about.

  • Okay you really shouldn't act like you know what youre talking about when you have no Clue...That is not a BOA!!! lol...That is a Green Tree Python...Very Very Different Snakes.

  • Go die. lol. Its just how it goes. It happens in the wild, and it happens in captivity. GET OVER IT!!!

  • You are a tard.

    1. Reptiles are not boring. I bet you're even more boring then a snail on a bad day.

    2. People who buy these animals actually love them and care for them. Dogs and Cats are not the only fun animals.

  • hes really nice! dope vid

  • you dont ever want to get bit by a chondro or a emerald tree.

major mucho pain and lots of bleeding

  • DAAANG! that rat didnt stand a chance.

the python is the only lime green thing around. it kinda stands out ya know?

imagine how well it would be concealed in a lush green tropical forest! shit, i wouldnt stand a chance

  • where did u get the green tree python and how much was it

  • i was lookin round and i found a GTP for $14,500 is this a good price or what?

(im not seriously gonna get one im just curious)

  • No ive seen them go as low as $200 most likley up around $500. They are not for novice owners most people I see with them are scared to take them out because it bit them once. Dont get this snake if you just want somthing to talk about they need attention or they get lippy.

  • AHAHAHAHAHA LOL AHAHAHA thats ridiculos. GTP hatchies go for $5000 and proven breeders over $10,000. $200 I haven't even seen a stimsons or childreni go for that. Snakes aren't a puppy dog and either tolerate being handeled or they don't, they don't crave love and affection LOL. Ridiculos comment.

  • shut up you son of a bitch,i went to a herp expo and the gtp hatchlings were like $400 not like 5,000!!Were you from, europe,ya bitch?Dont' be bitching to other people like that if you don't know a damn thing your talking about!

  • LOL I have kept snakes for a long long time mate and I aint from Europe i'm Aussie. I apologise I now realise you are from USA and GTP proces are way way cheaper over there so as far as USA prices go you are correct. However snakes don't get lippy if you dont show them affection.

  • moron

  • how was that ridiculous he had a question? and maybe you should learn how to spell...

  • And in his question STATED that GTP's need attention. They aint no puppy dog that's the part that I said was ridiculous. They day you learn to comprehend is the day i'll learn to spell buddy.

  • they day? wow... lmao your making yourself look bad

  • lol if you are pathetic enough to make a big deal out of a typo then so be it. I also struggle to see where the question is being asked. Please point the question out to me. LOL i'm having good fun with this I love when the key board warriors come out. Unlike you I never attacked personally just had my say on a silly comment. So you sit behind your keyboard and act big and tough and in the process please point out the question :)

  • looks like you asked your daddy to type the paragraph for you? thats cute bitch
