actually you're wrong...it isn't off the manifold at all...it's off the turbo, which has a section of pipe clearly seen in the video...so putting a piece of straight pipe on it won't change the result in sound or backpressure, due to the 90 degree bend...that turbo is making plenty on it's own. So wisen up smart guy...it technically is straight piped now, even if it is short.

The pipe coming out of the turbo is just that...a section of pipe...not a manifold...the manifold comes off the head on the exhaust side...which in turn connects on the turbine for the exhaust...turning the compressor to inject pressurized air into the head on the intake side from the impeller.
