I'm 13 but to all those people saying that they don't want to grow up yet, don't worry about growing up, enjoy being young while you still can. Cherish every single moment of it. To the adults or soon to be adults, whenever you have some time to yourself savor every moment. But it doesn't really matter how old you are. As long as you are a kid in your heart and keep your mind young that's all that matters.
@10playmakers not at all, and don't worry...responsibility and age/the part of school your in doesn't matter, its how responsible you are. You're only rebonsibility will be more homework, and if you don't practice too many different things you'll probably be fine :) I'm still 11, but I am so independent I already have tons of responsibility, but it's not too hard having all that if you do it often and anything can be fun in life, you just have to make it fun :).

The second, when she is a teenager who thinks of it as childish. The last is of her as an adult, trying to reach back into those innocent days, and failing because she holds it in such high regard, making it superfical and not enjoyable. altogether a heartbreaking song

I'm only a child, but now I realize how precious childhood really is.
Before I know it, I'm going to be driving and handling money.
This song is amazing and it always makes me partially afraid to grow up.
Hell, I stil run around carring a neon green Gloomy, and wear a Winnie the Pooh jacket. I gather around the tiny little tv with my 6 year old cousins and watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
I go insane when there are new Spongebob episodes.
I'm never going to entirely grow up.

You won't "Lose it" if you spend it the way you want to or in a way that pleases you. It's your life. (Trust me, even if I am younger then you I think about stuff a lot and you should do what you want with your life)

Every time I think about growing up I want to cry. All my life I haven't been able to be my self. At school everyone hated me and I had no friends untill I started acting older. At home my older sister is always throwing fits and being immiture, so I feel like I have to compensate.I feel older than I actualy am. I know my child hood is rapidly slippind away and I have never shown anyone who I realy am, and now I don't think I will ever be able to. And to me, that's scary. im only 12.

:) growing up only means to be able to function and live outside your parents house. ^^ you can be a child forever. your body may age but you never have to on the inside. ^^ so don't be scared cuz really, does anyone grow up? :D the world is full of grown up kids. >:D when you hit 21 you just become a kid with bigger toys to play with. My sis is going off to college this Saturday. She wasn't here for the summer and now when I see her I cry because she is grown up and considered an adult. I'm sorta afraid that she's going to change a lot, but then I think back to myself and I realize that I'm only two years away from where she is. I don't want to be a "kid" I guess, but I definitely am nervous about growing up. Hopefully I will be able to maintain my point of view that happiness can be found anywhere and that I can be happy

I'm 17, but you wanna know what I did on my birthday? I didn't see an R rated movie like the rest of my friends on their 17 birthdays. I wore my pikachu hat, carried around a giant stuffed kirby and (my older sister and I being the only people in the theater), waited for Kung Fu Panda 2 to start. I'm never going to completely grow up. And if people call me childish it's their mistake. You can do child-like things without being childish.

I'm 13 but to all those people saying that they don't want to grow up yet, don't worry about growing up, enjoy being young while you still can. Cherish every single moment of it. To the adults or soon to be adults, whenever you have some time to yourself savor every moment. But it doesn't really matter how old you are. As long as you are a kid in your heart and keep your mind young that's all that matters.

@10playmakers not at all, and don't worry...responsibility and age/the part of school your in doesn't matter, its how responsible you are. You're only rebonsibility will be more homework, and if you don't practice too many different things you'll probably be fine :) I'm still 11, but I am so independent I already have tons of responsibility, but it's not too hard having all that if you do it often and anything can be fun in life, you just have to make it fun :).

I always think this song is split into three parts. The first is when she is a child, engaging in her fantasy land without thinking of it as anything special. The second, when she is a teenager who thinks of it as childish. The last is of her as an adult, trying to reach back into those innocent days, and failing because she holds it in such high regard, making it superfical and not enjoyable. altogether a heartbreaking song

I'm turning 17 in two days and i already feel so old. I'm living my life as the geek that I am and loving it. I still act like a kid and I dont ever want to stop but I know I have to at some point which makes me scared and depressed. But one thing for sure, I'm keeping my most precious stuffed animal till I die! I'm never losing it!
