@BattlesiutXV22 I believe they are the same voice actors, or very similar. You need to remember that this is only for TLS so a lot of possible lines are lost.

@lorcan0c The Crusade has destroyed a lot of colonies and was called off only because of prologned stalemate and threat of Hive Fleet Behemoth, if would have managed to break the stalemate and no Nids appeared, it would severly cripple the Tau "Empire".

@Gerojsk Sorry but no. The Tau codex from 2006 wrote the Damocles Crusade as a shining victory of the Tau. But Matt Ward, the ultimate space marine fanboy failtastic writer, decided to fuck around with the Canon, as he does with EVERY codex he writes, and make it so the Space Marines were winning, then got bored and fucked off for no real reason whatsoever. I have both codexes and play both armies. Tau was first, therefore the original canon ending of the Damocles Gulf crusade.

@IFM2002 Exactly. Here is an example of how bad a writer Ward is. I was once a proud Ultramarines player. Not a bandwagon player who hopped on when they got their starter kit. I was experienced with Tau already and I chose the Ultramarines when starting Space Marines because I loved what the chapter stood for and its general background and characters, and bore the usual mockery Ultramarines players get with a chuckle.

After Ward's 5th Ed codex? I now play Chaos Space Marines.

@manacycler I wouldn't go that far, but the CSM codex is far from perfect. It needs a lot of refining. Like we have to put up with the "frenzied" rule for dreadnoughts. That was originally added because we get unique weapons. But now SM's have no less than 3 different kinds of dreadnought kits, all plastic, with dozens of weapons. We have to settle for the metal kit which is smaller, poorly designed and as expensive as a land raider. (Besides forge world ones.They're good.)

His name doesn't quite make sense to me, the name structure goes

"Caste, Rank, Homeworld, and given name. However his name goes "Homeworld, Caste, Rank and then Rank again. So his name is translated as:

Tau Fire Caste Commander Commander. So that would mean his given name is Commander. It's a careless mistake and I suppose it doesn't really matter, but the mistake is still there.
