how do you get the stuff to look like it is moving even though you are holding it

hehe... itscalled stop motion. just like Robot Chicken, Coraline... erm dont have time to go through the list but yeah.. movies like that are stop motion animation, basically moving things little by little taking pictures, then playing the pictures to make it look like it's moving.
