I think the S5T is a better horn for railroading because a). it's chilling sound is better at inspiring DREAD in those it's trying to warn, and b). you have two more horns to foul out before it's time to go to the horn shop! :D
i think the Leslie RS-5T is better sounding although.
a nice set of those on a Chevy Durmax Diesel, fitted with a raise kit, bull bars, ladder rack, headache rack, and those horns, lawl hell, i'll be a 'horny' honker all the time!
A really impressive "nature spectacle"! Awesome!

This is soooo cool! Great job! I've got a set of Nathan P5's in my 1973 LTD station wagon and a set of Leslies in the wife's Toyota. Great horns.

I cant stop watching this. The RS3L in the distance and the echos just keeps bringing me back. I love Leslies, its a shame they arent still produced.

I remember seeing that chevy at the Altoona Railfest last July

Ed's got way too many horns.
Some don't like the RS-3L, I love it and wish it was still used.
Railroads need to start ordering Leslie horns again now that Nathan doesn't give a hoot what theirs sound like.

This is one of my most favorite videos! At 0:10, it sounds it really is a train in the distance! How many horns do you actually have?

Now, if only they allowed NY drivers to put Leslies on our vehicles instead of the "wussy" horns we're stuck with!

The horn on the Geo sounds more like a Nathan M3 than a Leslie RS3L, unless I'm just imagining that...
