  • @generalgene007 I tell you it is interesting. It is getting much easier each time I do it. But 3 goats is tiring. But I like it, kinda want my own now....

  • goat chees is so good :) just hard to get the real good stuff here hehe never had home made goat chees might have to see if i cant find some hehe :)

  • @DeathToAllHamsters I have never ate it I don't think. If I end up with some extra milk then I might try a batch of soft cheese which is a cottage cheese. Ummm this might be interesting, tonight at 6pm central standard think of me I will be starting this project of milking these goats on my own with the help of my daughter, and it is the 1st time ever...Well with the exception of the last 2 nights of training. But the owners were there and now they are gone....Misty

Oh it is soooo hot and humid...With no ac either...Just let the children play in the creek today while getting sand and then we came back to the house and I sprayed them down with the garden hose to wash the sand off, and Mountainman got ahold of the hose and sprayed me down, it was sooo cold but felt sooo good when he was done....

  • @BTSchnauzers I am sure it will be....

  • We had an old jersey growing up named Daisy. I wasn't too good at milking her though. It didn't help that she stepped back one day, right on top of my foot. Wow that hurt. Reckon that has anything to do with my flat feet ? lol

  • @mhpgardener LOL I wonder if it had a reason for you beinng flat footed....Isn't Daisy just a good name for a cow? This is the first time at me milking anything, I tried once with a goat and me and her just didn't jive, I thought it was her but now I think it was the both of us...These poor goats will be happy when there owners get back home...lol..

  • Oh how exciting! I do alot of pet sitting and I have a few clients with goats ~ I really love them, they are quite personable - like dogs are! lol. I am looking forward to your upcoming videos. Hope you and your children have lots of fun caring for your neighbors "kids"!

  • goats are weird, you know they only have bottom teeth?

  • @paradoxdesigns Yes they are. No I didn't...The little ones are cute though. I tried to raise one once and me and her didn't get along....

  • Granny always had a jersey cow to milk. The neighbors would bring her fresh cows to milk and feed if they had lost their calf.

  • @OkieJohn1950 Wow that is interesting! Love a Jersey!

  • What a job! The good thing is you'll probably learn a lot. Were you walking that goat to the pasture or was that goat walkin' you?! LOL Nice job.

  • @katzcradul Thank you! I will learn alot. I had a goat once but it didn't work out. And that goat was walking me fur-sure!!!
