720 is better for every Genesisesque music on YouTube! 240 is horrible blurry sounding and low quality! No one wants to listen to that just because you want to gain thumbs purely from nostalgia. Gosh.

I never played the very first Sonic game until I was 11 (18 now), but it still gives me a great sense of nostalgia. :)
