We need more people who will share their faith, like you do. Unfortunately, it is mostly Jehovah's Witness and Mormons. We need more people like you who will stand up for the truth. God bless. I am 16, and maybe someday I can.
Good job showing that we are all criminals before God and worthy of his judgement. Glad you were able share about the grace freely given through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
I just wanted to tell you, keep on doing that which Jesus has told you to do, I am your brother in Christ, in Canada BC, please also pray for me that I will not quit witnessing for our coming Lord.
Well I'm going to answer for the speaker here. We have all broken every one of the commandments if not in deed in thought. The bible says in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" and in James 2:10 it says "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."
There is something else too. We are not sinners because of outward sins only (thoughts, words, and deeds) but even more importantly, we are sinners because our life is a continuous devotion (offering) to self, to what ever would benefit us in the end. Self-gratification is the rule of life for every sinner. Commitment to self-gratification. Not just outward sins but a lifestyle of sin. Forever committed to self-gratification=forever hell. Leaving that part out is WOTM biggest flaw.
You god-damned, infernally-destined prat. You're just lying, toerag. If there were such a place as hell, you'd be going there on a first-class ticket. May you stew in your own juices, you self-regarding fool.
You'd be going to hell because you're a blaspheming fool! The only 'sinner' is you. As for your imaginary god blessing me, no thanks. You & your fellow-zealots are so far removed from reality & you don't even know it. Jokers like you are irredeemably lost. Sad.
You must be an atheist fool. What am I blaspheming oh foolish one? There is no reality apart from God. You live in a delusional world apart from "in the beginning God." Repent you rebel or face the consequences!
When you look at a piece of art, how do you know there is an Artist? When you look at a house, how do you know there was a builder? Because the creation, had to have a creator.
When you look at me, or at yourself, how do you know there was a creator? The proof is in the pudding. God is real my friend, and he loves you more than you will ever know. His Grace is Endless, and there is nothing that you have Ever done that can't be forgiven by the Grace of God. Freely. Just ask.
You can't sit there and say that this person is a sinner, afterall, Jesus helped the people that needed help, which includes prostitutes and the like, I believe that Jesus wouldn't have helped the self-riteous and arrogant. You calling this person a sinner who was expressing HIS beliefs is what I would call SELF-RITEOUS. Just because his beliefs left a bad taste in your mouth does not give you the right to judge other people!
First of all this is how you spell self-righteous. Not trying to be smart just helping you out for next time. Secondly In John 7:24 it states " Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment." If someone steals, lies, commits adultery or murder, etc, the Christian can make a (righteous) moral judgment and say that the actions were morally wrong, and that these sins will have eternal consequences.
We seem to focus too much on the the commandments like, do not lie, steal, covet and murder. But we seem to leave the greatest commandment of all. Love the Lord with all your heart mind and soul. If everything you do is not done for the glory of God then its sin against God. So even the greatest deed in mans eyes is filthy wrags if is not done primarily for the glory of God. That is the only time someone can be saved. When they are broken over the wretched state before their creator.
Your opinion of the human heart is how the majority of the world sees it fit, unfortunately that is not the case when it comes to righteousness before the eyes of GOD. Your good works can't save you or anyone from hell, they simply fool you into thinking like that. Which is way the road to hell is paved with good works. GOD will not examine your heart and determine if it was lighter (good) or darker (bad) there is no measuring the goodness or the badness (continued)
of our hearts because they are all 100% bad. This thought of "shades of gray, these are made up beliefs that comfort the sinner, but ultimately in death bring complete separation from God. Don't let yourself be deceived my friend, ask God to forgive you, ask him for repentance form your sins, and change the way you live your life, that is the only way you will see the mercy of GOD, because life is not a video game.
Oh yeah, I was fooled by the Intelligence questions a few times but I know the answers already so you can't try them on me any more :p
On your Good Person test though... I've got a better sense of right and wrong from watching anime and playing fantasy video games compared to your definition.
A person's heart isn't all black or white. They are all various shades of gray. It all depends on which is more dominant, Darkness... or Light..
All sin is VERTICAL...ALL sin is sin against God because you have broken His Law. You have sinned and therefore you need salvation. Everytime you lie, steal, lust, hate, covet, fornicate, get drunk, etc. you sin against God. Repent and trust in His Son Jesus Christ!
what you call sin is against other people. no human can harm or offend God. That's like saying an ant can offend you. God is above and beyond such things. Thanks, but no thanks; your path is not for me. :)
well the way you put it, it seems like nobody is going 2 b granted entrance into heaven. you said yourself that justice will be served by God banishing sinners to eternal damnation on the day of judgement. but if people commit these sins every day, and at times just moments before meeting their demise; then how would they have the time to repent and ask God for forgiveness? it seems like God is'nt as forgiving as people who indentify themselves as true christians give him credit for being.
God is very forgiving. There are conditions to receiving forgiveness from God though. A person must Repent of their sins (that is confess and forsake them) and put their Trust in Jesus. The moment a person does this they become Born Again. Then they must live a life of holiness until the end. If they sin after they are Born Again, they must Repent otherwise they are still in danger of going to Hell. But, YES, everyone does deserve to go to Hell!
It is true, He can forgive all your sin. But only on the condition that you change, and payment is made for you. Now here we have the answer in the Bible. God satisfied justice through the death of His Son Jesus. And He promises that if you repent and trust Him to, He WILL apply Jesus blood to your account!. So you will be called JUSTIFIED in front of the whole universe, for the reason that you believed. Believed personally He is Lord, and heart-trust Him to save you from sinning and hell.
That is why God commands NOW to repent. And He is giving everybody a time before death to change (repent). The truth is, people don't sin on accident and then one day wake up in hell. Sin is rather a commitment to self-gratification as the purpose of life. That is wrong obviously. Ten Commandments are just more specific examples of this. Everybody is a sinner in that way. And God has to send us to hell unless there is a change in us AND payment is made for our crime. Where do you stand?
It can be a struggle to Repent, but it's as easy as asking God for help and He Will help you through turning from your sin. That is because, Everyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be Saved.
Most of the sins people commit, especially grave sins like murder or rape, are "horizontal",not "vertical". I'm sure that God is deeply offended and grieved by such sins.God might forgive you for rape or murder, but as long as the victims withhold forgiveness, a person will never escape the consequences of his actions, weather in this world or the next.
a response to my questions asked would be greatly appreciated. i mean no disrespect. im just very confused about religion as a whole. not just christianity. so please dont think i'm trying to judge you or your beliefs. im simply inquiring.
I hope that clarifies it a little more. Feel free to ask till your heart is satisfied. If you will, this is an inquiry meeting. Browse through the comments, and then tell me what you think, and if you are confused on anything.
