What you are thinking of is the Hail Fire TANK T-A-N-K!

Droid= AI(artificial Intelegence), There for, thinks in is own, and acts on its own.

Tank= Vehicle, Therefor, a operator(Pilot, Gunner, Tecnichin ETC) has to GET INSIDE and control, use drive, fire walk so on and so forth.
