@kdtarvin I have had this type of migraine for years - I was diagnosed at age 19 - I am now 47. They are bizarre and very scary. Because of the fact that I know what to expect, I can actually laugh at the nonsense that comes out of my mouth. My co-workers know that when I wave off their attempts to speak with me that I am having a migraine. It usually passes in about 30 minutes and my speech is back to normal. My husband almost called 911 the first time he witnessed this.

I believe Ms. Branson suffered a flash-induced psychomotor partial-complex seizure. They typically only last 30 seconds or so. She should have an EEG that includes two stressors: Photo-strobe lights; and electrochocleography, the latter which induces repetative clicks next to the ear drum. I believe that one of these two stressors will recreate her symptoms and they will manifest themselves as aberations on the EEG as well. Note: Her facial musculature showing spasms on one side. IMHO.

Just to be clear, she did NOT have a stroke. She didn't even go to the hospital. She was checked out by medics straight after and her vitals were completely normal, she got a ride home with a friend.
