i have same car same rims, no mods besides wheels/tires, suspension, and slotted/drilled fronts tho : ( im pretty sure ive seen your user name on bimmerforums before as well unless there are randomly 2 different people who thought of combining happy gilmore w/ minigolf for a user name....nice clean ride yer got there, how many miles? and im pretty sure ive seen this russel042 persons name on the forums as well. Wasted money on that Dinan crap. No offense but yeah did. We had 3 E39s at a dyno and swapped the Dinan "performance CAI" and got nothing. Dinan is a pile of shit, they take a M60 manifold and call it their High Flow Manifold haha or 750iL rotors, carriers, and calipers and offer it as big brake package. Fuck off Dinan!

Pre-vanos v8, would that be the obd1 then? I guess this is the first ive heard about that being an upgrade.

Pre-Vanos is still OBDII; my 1997 is. The pre-Vanos intake manifold somehow allows better flow. Dinan sold the OEM pre-Vanos manifold with their badge on it as an upgrade.
