A. The Beatles were picked to do the roles

B. The Beatles declined because the Vultures are parodies of themselves and they didn't want that

C. Other actors took over their roles

Disney actually asked the Beatles to do the parts of the Vultures, but they refused, in fact, they were upset about the character vultures bearing a strong resemblance to them. Don't know why the refused or why they were upset, i think it would have been cool.

The vultures are one of the big reasons I watch this movie, even today in adulthood. I don't know why, but every time Sher-Kan says, "Boo.", I crack up laughing.
