You explain too much exposition in your dialogue; expo that doesn't need to be there. There is no real character development or arcs. I felt no Dark Descent among any of the characters, and the ending was weak. You disposal of Scarecrow in the first few minutes of the film was wise, but poorly executed. Continued below...
You would have been better off writing him out of the film as already having been captured. Wayne is one dimensional and does sound like he smokes a pack a day, while Batman sounds like he smokes 10. Dent and Joker are way too over the top. While Dent's being saved by Wayne was a good idea, it was very poorly executed. And the Joker as a miguided do-gooder just doesn't wash. Plus his laugh was annoying as hell. Like I said, points for effort, but you made Uwe Boll look like a genius.

If this is a high school film, its EXCELLENT. If its anything beyond that its WEAK. Bad lighting, bad makeup, mediocre acting. I bet it was fun to make though.

One thing I don't understand, though; if Harvey Dent's scarred face was simply burned by water wouldn't it heal eventually? In the comics it's permanent, lol. Thanks very much... and yes, I'm well aware of the bad actiing, lol. This is my take on Two-Face. It's boiling water. And, it burns him, making his skin bubble up. Out of frustration he tears that half of his face away. And, when we come back to him... there is already some sort of scab. But, the scab keeps cracking and falling of, bleeding, creating more of a scab. Kind of a permanent scab... and a lot of his skin is torn away.
I see I guess--it's not really that big of a deal (especially since Bruce is paying for his rehibilitation--allegedly--I say that not because I doubt Bruce, but that has been tried before, but the Two-Face personality didn't allow it, lol :D). Especially since the makeup was so good, lol ;D.

This is pretty good for a fan film. Smigiel did a great job as the Joker. I liked the "Shh, it's okay" line when he was killing Rachel, and the way Joker kept laughing during his final moments. My only suggestion would be make him laugh more violently. The guy playing Two-Face did good too. In fact, all the cast did good. Just wondering, though: The credits mentioned an Edward Nigma played by Troy Jones, but I don't recall seeing him in the film. Could someone please point him out to me?

First off, Alfred looked like he was 15, (yes I do understand it's a fan movie but still.)also in part one and this one the Joker sounded like a little girlscout who just sold a box of cookies, and were Harvey's arms broken, he just swung them around aimlessly. I wrote alot I know! :o But I do really like your movie! It's the TES of Batman Fan films. It's low budget, shot with a home video camcorder, and kinda of a spur of the moment project, that's made just for the heck of it. Though it is not a Big-Budget-Hollywood-Blockbuster; it engages audiences regardless through it's unique story and great storytelling. ;)

TES was filmed in a couple areas... this was filmed in many, at different times of the days, with more practiced acting. Not being a jerk, just saying I disagree. I love TES, so don't take this as a negative comment! I just think it's nothing like TES. When is the new version of that coming out by the way?
Perhaps Decent isn't the TES of Batman Fan Films, but it's still hot stuff! :p Perhaps Superboy is the TES of Fanfilms? hmmmm. (continued from above) Also nothing against Molossus, but don't think it fits too well toward the end of the movie. I think "Final Confrontation" from the Batman soundtrack is a better fit because the tension builds and builds and then explodes (like wayne manor.) So I would cahnge the music toward the end so you have a really climatic score to go with the bomb about to go off. Also I think Antrozous might fit better for when batman lands on the table and throws a batarang.
(continued from above) The part where two face stabs the Joker in the Back looks a bit fake, so I would cut that out and replace it with thw shot when Two-Face screams and is holding the tri-dent in the air. In all honesty I think batman would not want to save the Joker, because Batman realises that the Joker is willing to sacrefice his life to kill Harvey and Bruce. So I think Bruce/Batman would just focus on geting Harvey out of there instead of worrying about the Joker. (continued Below)

Then the Joker could escape by using his flower that squirts acid. Honestly with that kick in the movie-there would be no way that would knock out Batman...unless he hit his head on a hard object. (continued from above) If you added a few wideshots of them talking that would be a good way to mix it up. In the wideshots have them walk around, BUT don't have them walk around for no reason, have them pace when there is a change of ideas in their dialouge. If they just walk in the middle of the talking the audience will focus on the moving and will pay less attention to the dialouge, SO move when there is pause or change of idea in the dialouge. (continued Below)
I still think the chase is too long. I know why you have it long-it's to go with the music, but music should fit your video, not the video fitting music (unless your making a trailer). I think you could cut out a few shots so the scene doesn't drag on. The dialouge between Gordon and Batman I think is a tad too long. I think a good way to improve a scene like that, is of course have alot of angles.(continued below.)

This is pretty good for a fan film. Smigiel did a great job as the Joker. I liked the "Shh, it's okay" line when he was killing Rachel, and the way Joker kept laughing during his final moments. My only suggestion would be make him laugh more violently. The guy playing Two-Face did good too. In fact, all the cast did good. Just wondering, though: The credits mentioned an Edward Nigma played by Troy Jones, but I don't recall seeing him in the film. Could someone please point him out to me?

This movie was great; I'm a filmaker as well and I've always wanted to make a Batman movie with my friends (looks like you beat me to it, though). A question for Smigiel: what's the name of the song that you used for the end credits? I know that it comes from the Batman Begins soundtrack, but I don't remeber which track it is.

First off, Alfred looked like he was 15, (yes I do understand it's a fan movie but still.)also in part one and this one the Joker sounded like a little girlscout who just sold a box of cookies, and were Harvey's arms broken, he just swung them around aimlessly. I know Batman's voice is supposed to deep but it sounded like he was choking. Overall this movie annoyed the heck out of me.

That's been the case with Bruce and Harvey. Both their tones are too affected; it always sounds like they're pretending. Actors have to sound real.

I wrote alot I know! :o But I do really like your movie! It's the TES of Batman Fan films. It's low budget, shot with a home video camcorder, and kinda of a spur of the moment project, that's made just for the heck of it. Though it is not a Big-Budget-Hollywood-Blockbuster; it engages audiences regardless through it's unique story and great storytelling. ;)

lol... this wasn't spur of the minute... it was planned and planned and planned. TES was filmed in a couple areas... this was filmed in many, at different times of the days, with more practiced acting. Not being a jerk, just saying I disagree. I love TES, so don't take this as a negative comment! I just think it's nothing like TES. When is the new version of that coming out by the way?

It just sounds cool giving certain movies names, like a movie with really bad/poor editing could be known as a "DOMINO" ha ha! AnyWho TES coming out soon? it will come out when I persaude Stephen to do 3 voice overs for my film. So next time's he's over I might have to seduce him or something, Cuz TES takes up 16gb on my comp. and cuz TES will kick axe!

(continued from above) Also nothing against Molossus, but don't think it fits too well toward the end of the movie. I think "Final Confrontation" from the Batman soundtrack is a better fit because the tension builds and builds and then explodes (like wayne manor.) So I would cahnge the music toward the end so you have a really climatic score to go with the bomb about to go off. Also I think Antrozous might fit better for when batman lands on the table and throws a batarang.

(continued from above) The part where two face stabs the Joker in the Back looks a bit fake, so I would cut that out and replace it with thw shot when Two-Face screams and is holding the tri-dent in the air. In all honesty I think batman would not want to save the Joker, because Batman realises that the Joker is willing to sacrefice his life to kill Harvey and Bruce. So I think Bruce/Batman would just focus on geting Harvey out of there instead of worrying about the Joker. (continued Below)

(continued from above) When the Joker appears I think Batman would be alot more aggressive. I think it would be cool after the "..over my dead body" line batman batarangs the Joker and ties him up and interogates him, which would lead into the joker telling about his killings. Then the Joker could escape by using his flower that squirts acid. Honestly with that kick in the movie-there would be no way that would knock out Batman...unless he hit his head on a hard object. (continued from above) If you added a few wideshots of them talking that would be a good way to mix it up. In the wideshots have them walk around, BUT don't have them walk around for no reason, have them pace when there is a change of ideas in their dialouge. If they just walk in the middle of the talking the audience will focus on the moving and will pay less attention to the dialouge, SO move when there is pause or change of idea in the dialouge. I still think the chase is too long. I know why you have it long-it's to go with the music, but music should fit your video, not the video fitting music (unless your making a trailer). I think you could cut out a few shots so the scene doesn't drag on. The dialouge between Gordon and Batman I think is a tad too long. I think a good way to improve a scene like that, is of course have alot of angles.(continued below.)
