She's not a female Superman she's not bullet proof why she deflects them with braclets, originally couldn't fly used invisible plane. Cheetah is just as credible as Catwoman, Dr. Psycho is smart like Luther. Serse is from mythology a powerful witch. Actually Steve Trevor wasn't that bad on tv series and helpped Wonder Woman over come foes.
Hater. You're just another guy who can't stand the thought of a woman being able to kick your ass. In it's day, the t.v. series with Lynda Carter was cutting edge re: tech and social standard. I refer to the the first season only. The animated movie sold quickly and did better than all projected forecasts. As for memorable character moments...MAX LORD??? I'd say that's pretty fkn memorable. Unlike, I have to say, your 'movie thoughts'...
You are entitled to your opinion, and you make a couple fair points, but I do have to point out- if snapping a guy's neck is your most memorable moment, you are a boring person. Also, you can't build a movie around that storyline.
well she has already had her own movie but it was animated and it was not that bad, course anytime they cannot do a live action movie it ends up as a cartoon movie
here's the thing man, I absolutely see your point...but I'm a little more Optomistic I guess. The straight to DVD release was IMO great. It was gritty, well choreographed, well voiced, and I thought the story was good I love Greek Myth

I wholly agree with you. We still need a good movie superheroine, but Wonder Woman is not her. Lame character, lame concept, lame adapatability factor.

Hollywood is afraid of women mains. That is the biggest reasons. She would need to fall in love with a guy or something. She couldn't be like Superman. Just great. Just because Hollywood is a pussy.
It's not just a fear of women mains. They're just kinda fumble-fingered with them, and they generally have a poor grasp of healthy mediums, so when they do try to create an empowered protagonist, they just make a pointlessly bellicose asshole.
Bottom line-- Wonder Woman just really is not that popular, at least in part because even the comic writers have never really known what to do with her. She changes radically every time she gets a new writer. (And you point that out with the ret-cons.)
