  • He's still great...he is the true heart of Chicago! The one responsible for the Chicago sound...and he's still having fun performing!

  • I have loved Pankow for 45 years. Now I am 54. Sarah.

  • Just great!!! By far a great discovery for me in Chicago X (which I bought in 1995)was this beautiful song, and I'm a fan!! The original recording is a jewel but this is truly a surprise by seeing Jimmy on stage performing his song. Thanks a lot!! Greetings from México.

  • wow this is my first time ive seen jimmy singing in their concert..........so nice voice too ha !

  • Oh wow. I had seen some show clips from the 70s but not anything this current with this song. Thanks for posting. Yes, Jimmy rocks.

  • I love James Pankow! whew!

  • What an ignorant statement RedCeltYank, I think you would think different if you knew the whole story buddy..

  • No doubts the man is talented, and the heart beat of Chicago. The man loves to perform, and I love listening

  • if you find the right show you can see lee singing color my world

  • jimmy is expert on trombone jimmy exelent

  • excellent now we just need to get walter and lee up there often!

  • This has always been one of my favorite songs from Chicago "X". Seeing it performed live for the first time is a blast! Too bad Jimmy Pankow didn't perform this in either of the 2 Chicago DVDs released in '02 (Live by Request on A&E) and '03 (live at SoundStage). I've always enjoyed Jimmy's trombone playing, very expressive with a sweet, full-bodied tone. His very creative horn arrangements are part of the essence of Chicago's sound.

  • GO JIMMY! And to think he had to be tricked into recording his vocal of this song on X!! (Engineer Wayne Tarnowski told him it was). He is out of his shell here!! Great job, nice tight playing by the rhythm section.

  • Terrific capture of the solo. Nice work.

  • This clip shows the versatility of Chicago. It is so cool how Jimmy switches from vocal work straight into his trombone solo. And it is great to hear this song live again.

    Thanks for posting this Melinda!

  • Jimmy is soooooooooo cool!!!

  • oh my god, Melinda. I'll admit that Jimmy isn't a great singer, but his trombone work on this really rocks! :)

  • Awesome video!!!
