  • do u think beamer is better as a standerrt flatscreen for homecinema ?

  • why do u sound like borat lmfao

  • High five!

  • tommy wiseau

  • you sound like Borat!!! Are you Borat?!!! Dude Borat, you are my personal hero!

  • love the accent

  • Nice video. Thanks for helping people out with all this info. By the way, does it read power point slides from the pendrive? Are there other mini projectors as good as this one or better?

  • hahaahahahahha.love the accent and the trembling of his voice

  • I went from thinking you're Chinese to realizing it's a French Canadian accent

  • thanks for this nice review, but next time please compare two beamer with the same movie shown.

  • @kryonikx The same movie is shown

  • HA HA HA 13:06-13:12

"Its fun that you can actually project on the side of the projector, or maybe it's not fun"

  • A very likeable character this guy is....would make a good salesman. Though this machine seems to struggle in all the demos with the 80 inch claim.

  • nice review :)

  • Ty for the time and effort you spent to make this Presentation Charbax. It helps a lot.

    Great Work

  • I'm really interested in buying this projector, but I can't find reliable information about supported video codecs when playing directly from an USB source. The BenQ site does not show any information or says that it can play only MPEG1 video. Most of videos from internet are MPEG4. You say this GP1 is able to play MPEG4; now I'm REALLY in doubt about the whole thing. So, what's the true story?

  • @anquelmartho Maybe BenQ decided to remove Mpeg4 at least on a portion of the devices they are selling, for licencing cost issue, and because of the not supporting the Mp3 audio codec issue.

  • LANDON DONOVAN`S BROTHER LMFAO

  • Are you related to Borat?

  • Hey i just want to ask, where did you get the drugs? they might be ilegaly =\ lol

  • MP3 unsupported? It kills the device IMO, I'd go with the LG hs200 hs/201 for the same price range or even better, the LG hx300 for a bit more.

  • hows the color now ? is still going good ?

  • it can play divx and divx and oh it can play divx....lol

  • Best review on youtube. Ever.

  • Do you ever have to replace the LED lights?

  • Hey man, thanks for the video, can you help me out though, for some reason EVERY video I put on my USB stick doesn't seem to be supported. I've tried everything; AVI (xvid, divx), MPEG, WMV, MPG, MP4, seriously NONE of them worked.

All that seemed to work was one random MPG I had somewhere on my HD.

Really don't know what to do since the USB function was really what I wanted to use.

Of course PHOTOS do work fine.

  • @kuffiNET You can see in my video, sadly benq has decided not to support Mp3 audio codec in videos. Your videos probably have Mp3 audio track. You will have to re-encode just the audio for example you can do that with Super Encoder, VirtualDub on Windows. You don't need to re-encode the video, only the audio, it usually can be done in 3 minutes per movie, something like that.

  • @palak hey thanks for the video but even me too not be able to play any file. i tried every thing but does not work i also tried virtual dub but can not play ..... can you please help me out ....

    thanks

  • 15 mins? My ass!!! I'm outa here

  • He is so passionate with what he is doing. =)

  • Charbax, great review! No mek bad minded ppl tek set pon yuh!

  • BAHHAAA then you look here it has aahh one of those things, and ah oh if you look at this here, I don't know what that is but must be cool, and it has one of these, those are there so it can ah ah it does cool things. LOL LOL so funny

  • ähhhähhhh lol funny review

  • i thought was a chineese speaking.. chineese accent..

  • can it play dvd files? or it need firmware tweaks?

  • Is that Borat's brother?

  • Ur Voice & accent is funny!

  • loser

  • Great video Charbax! Thanks!

  • 13:08 lol "its funs that you can project on the side of another projector.....or perhaps not"

  • How old is the NEC?

12:45 And its kinda comparable with a 6000$ lcd projector by NEC, that's just six years old, seven, six or seven, eight years old

  • Are you from Brazil? or Paris?

  • @Disneyclassics009 I'm from Jamaica but I live in Congo.

  • Yaaadmon eh...I'm from St. Catherine(portmore) pon di gaza!

  • haha...his accent really changes throughout the video doesn't it?!

  • If it had the option for battery i would had bought it.

  • Very Niice... How Much?

  • 13:07 "its fun that you can actually project on the side of the projector or..... maybe its not fun"

  • hahahaha..this guy is fun. there are lots of other reviews, but this is the only one i watched from start till end.

  • @ChiefLinesider07 Great quote!

  • he sounds like borat...

  • Its very niiice

  • He is practicing English rather than reviewing the projector lol

  • Ripoff price for this....

  • he-Boxxy??

  • I think its well worth the money.I would love to have one.

  • The the price you can get 1024x760 projectors with 1000+ lumens

  • Not to fit in a pocket though.. I can fit this Joybee in a jacket pocket, and the cables in the other pocket..

  • @Charbax this pocket projector seems to be the best ...is it the best? it sure beats the samsung SP-H03 and optoma pk301, but it`s hard to find all information on pocket projectors. but the contrast and brightness on this one seems to be the best.

  • @jblackrupert

yes and you can buy new lamp to NON-LED projectors like every year ? in price of this projector complete

  • @jblackrupert

    name one!

and with lapm that last for 20 000 hours)

  • Good review. I like how you compare the 2 projectors at the end so we can see for ourselves how they look.

  • Under $200, probably, $150 for sure. $500? No f'ing way!

  • No MP3 support? What the hell? That's like having a brand new kick-ass plasma TV with... no HDMI inputs! Or some other such ridiculous oversight. I'm not very good with analogies, heh. Well, I'll mostly be having my netbook hooked up to mine but I thought the USB flash drive media support was a nice idea. Yeah, hopefully they'll update the firmware to support MP3s if they haven't already. That's just crazy.

  • this thing seems to suck bigtime, cool toy but seems like fun for 2hours

  • have u tried the samsung p400 or dell m109s. im trying to decide between these 3 led projectors

  • I'm also trying to decide between just the dell m109s and this benq. You can get the m190s from the dell website for $320. This BenQ costs nearly $700 from what I've seen. Is it really worth 2x more to get this BenQ? I like how this BenQ has 100 lumens, speakers, USB, and a remote, but is it really worth paying 2x more than the m109s?

  • CPxAzn-I think you're pricing through a reseller (I saw that too)..go to BenQ..their price is 499..and they try to entice you to buy a $49 Apple cable to connect Ipods etc, with a $50 rebate.

Is this the MP3 fix? the cable?

  • good job

  • Nice review. I like the part when you compare this projector to the older one; huge difference in size. Keep up the good work!

  • very un-professional review... this is by far the most informative review. I think this guy will get better& better if he makes a few more reviews.... over time ... he will get better/more concise... he keeps repeaing the same info over & over. Also: this projector is obsolete already ...yes... its true, in a few months there will be: "laser mini-projectors" available ! even better & cheaper than these led projectors. Laser projectors will be the death of plasma & lcd & led , just wait & see.

  • I don't think you can build a whole new infrastructure for a new technology that easily. DLP is already very well developed even though LCD is bigger. The only thing I think about this projector that may make it obsolete, is if BenQ does not update the firmware to support Mp3 audio in Mpeg4 videos and NTFS hard drives on the USB host.

  • @9tee

noup it does not work like that

first led projectors are coming and they are going to be main thing for 5,6 years

  • how did you get your hands on this device...

  • thanks for the upload man

check my videos with my cheap projector

    its dlp

  • Comment removed

  • 1 Image Projection says more that 1000 Words my friend!

  • 500 US

  • Nice job, thanks for the review.

  • Samsung P400 is better =) 50 lumes brighter

    had composite ports and VGA

  • @thatgracefulledge

    fps games on pc

does it have respond time like tft monitors?

or refresh rate like 65 hz or similar?
