Your * big door

I have a lot of ideas on how you can make our big wood door quieter. Check out my vid of the chamberlain whisperdrive, now the one with 315, but the other one with the wood door. That door that they have is the same as yours accept it's paneled and has a window panel. But you can hear how quiet it is, and if you put that 3280 on it, then WOW, you'll here a difference. And then you can use the Raynor 78LM on your wall.

Nick... why don't you stick this on your door in your garage???? And then mess around with your 1260 in your room. Honestly, it would make that door a lot quieter... I would also be curious to see how it looks and sounds.

That would be nice, but I had to do a little convincing just to get my dad to let me replace our craftsman with that liftmaster. You are right though, I may think about that in the future. Also I did order some white nylon rollers for the door in my garage, I will be making a video of that and the nylons I just put on this door. That will do ALOT for that door.

Oh! I believe you programmed your opener in open/stop/close first. So the big button makes it go up, the middle button makes it go down, and the end button stops it.

Did I?? The big button seems to control all the actions of the door.....?

By pressing the big button, lock, and command, that should have put it into o/c/s mode.

I dont know...I had never even heard of that mode, until I was reading the instructions for the remote. From what I always new, that was simply a second way to program the remote, as opposed to pressing the opener learn button.

The regular way to program it would be button, light, command.

I really am glad that Chamberlain made the wall pad program feature.

Does the Smart Panel say sensors obstructed on your opener? I thought it only worked with certain openers, but I wasn't sure.

I tried button, light, command and that is not working....The smart panel does not say sensors obstructed, I just tried it and the lights on the opener just blinked 10 times like a regular chamberlain. The smart panel only works on 315 mhz openers, or so the instructions say (the external 315 mhz receivers don't count) I am going to try it though on a craftsman with a red learn button.
