I mean, c'mon, he can FUCKING FREEZE YOU WITH HIS HANDS, FIRE HIZ LAZOR, AND OTHER PSYCHO THINGS. But i know a time comes where he is wide open: when he powers up and teleports to you. He shows himself for about a second or two when he has teleported to you, then you should hit him.

raven, feng, hwoarang and christie / eddy kick ass.

With raven, you can just spam one of his punch moves and the opponent will die, or you can use one of his capoeira-like kick moves. With Feng, there are some weird dance moves that he does with his hand / shoulder that you can spam.

With Hwoarang, You can kick the fucking shit out of anyone with Forward+X, XXXX or OOOO. Occasionally use throws. :)

Jin's a strong and powerful character. He's the first I got to Tekken Lord rank in Arcade.

Characters like Hwoarang and Baek Doo San have longer and better variable combos, and more options and moves, but Jin's priceless disabling moves like Spinning Right Kick, Corpse Thrust, Blade Kick are amazing. Plus, though Baek and Hwoarang and Nina and many others are better for juggling, Jin can still pull some mean juggles with a popup move, two jabs then using Savage Sword.

They're all good though.

while i agree with you on jin being a good, strong character... he's not exactly the best person to fight with, if you can use somebody better than him. i can use steve fox and the way i control him, i beat the s**t out of jin. so.........

Steve was always overpowered from the beginning. Of course I can beat a lot of characters with him, but it's so bland just cheaply killing people that easily. Punches as fast as jabs shouldn't do as much damage as medium damage kicks. He's like, superior to Hwoarang in nearly every regard for close combat, Hwoarang's only advantage is the way he can fly around.

But anyway, I've basically played Jin so much, I've effectively mastered him. I'm working on my play as Devil Jin and Kazuya.

you DO know that most fighting styles in the game are based on reality fighting? light marshall law fights like bruce lee, lei wulong fights like jackie chan ect ect...

steve fought like a boxer, and i liked the fact he can dodge a lot of high attacks (E.G. a kick to the face) so i got used to him quickly.

but if you like using jin, that's you. i like steve and that's me.

Of course I know that the character's fighting styles are based on real styles. When I mentioned Steve was overpowered from the beginning, I meant, he's been overpowered since Tekken 4. I can use him quite easily, granted, I could probably do Ultra Hard with him if I wanted to - but he just feels too bland for my liking. Use him as you like =)

Personally I was hooked on Jin from when I was a nub in Tekken 4. He had so many spammable power hit moves, and that was fun :P That's why I use him now

well, i can see why you like using jin a lot now. as for tekken tag (the first) ultra hard mode was about as hard as jinpachi on easy mode XD (just saying)

i decided to give ultra hard mode on tekken 5 a shot, and i got RAPED so i used hwoarang and marshall law and i still kick ass. too bad its about as hard as jinpachi on easy mode, or maybe because i started over and was only a beginner... (you know: beginner, 9th kyu, etc etc)

ultra hard mode is fun, but only if you want challenging fights

I'm practicing with Devil Jin, I've noticed that my timing with moves and dodges is great, but my grasp on combos isn't perfect. I've watched a few Devil Jin combo videos, and I saw one which fits into my current playstyle. What I want to do, instead of instantly pummeling my opponents onto the floor, is unleash more juggle combos.

But anyway, Hwoarang is fun. So is Law, but I don't know many of his moves. With Law I just spam Dragon's Tail too much =) Ty for the talk

I can beat Ultra Hard with about 15-20 different characters, but without continues, I have to use Hwoarang, Jin, Devil Jin, Paul, Lee, Heihachi, or Kazuya. And even then it's HARD. They start one 10 hit combo that you can't stop, and it's game over, and you have to start again.

With continues, it's possible. Without continues, you have to use characters you're REALLY good at. Don't let the enemy attack you, and you won't take damage, it's that simple. Just keep attacking if you can.

@Austinpl0x actually using devil jin is very fricking easy on easy mode. you just spam these moves twice: down+square, and then circle+X, and square and triangle. it should knock ur opponent down, then you shud fly up and and use the "IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR!!" move if you know what i mean xD

your opponent needs to stay down in order for the second move to work, and it should on easy mode.

hook it up to the back of your tv in a av input(i cant remember it might be out) and then on your camera press play and then it should start recording(do not press record press play). :) and i have been told by people to hook your camera up for charge so it dont damage your cameras battery.
