  • Wonderful!!!

  • plus belle reprise de tous les temps ;-)

  • Anyone know what he said in french?

  • @blazeablunt4200 He says:

    Oh my love

    With you always

    In your large eyes

    Only we two.

That's a very literal translation and I'm certainly no French expert!

  • For a group of people like that to just totally have the utmost respect for Edith Piaf, a singer from a time before probably all of the people at that show were born...it's powerful stuff. Kudos Jeff. Kudos la Francaise.

  • Brilliant, simply brilliant. It is so very rare to hear an artist of this emotional level. What a tragedy to have lost him at only 30.

  • MAGINIFICO!!! JEFF T AMO!!! R.I.P... que bonita version de estas piezas de la magnifica edith piaf!!! ambos son de lo mas grande para mi!!

  • I couldn't help but grin when he started going french. I wish there were a visual.

  • Jeff you are ... l' hymne a l' amour !!!

  • Amazing...

  • oh my, this is so fucking great. sososososososo fucking great. rest in peace my darling<3 you have touched millions of hearts.

  • pelle d oca..

  • This isn't from L'Olympia - it is actually from Jeff's show at the Bataclan (11 February 1995). You can buy the EP, which has Dream Brother / an amazing version of The Way Young Lovers Do / the Piaf Medley and Hallelujah. The EP is called Live from the Bataclan.

  • I don't think so, If you listen the live at bataclan version is a little bit different...

  • sorry you're right, I was talking about live at sin-e'...

  • Anything he say's in French they just go crazy.

  • Sometimes a song is almost too beautiful, too sublime to listen to.

  • At the close of every day !

    ....

    Thanks !

  • Chouette reprise :)

  • Think it may have been in France.

  • At Olympia, in Paris

  • hence why all the French people were all a little enthusiastic when he covered a classic Edith Piaf song.
